Ah, Initial D. How you filled my high school days with your v2 and v3 arcade machines. Slowly you get to watch as Takumi goes from simple, yet talented tofu delivery boy to #1 downhill master from Project D. I give you a salute for owning the curves 4 wheels at a time.
This show finishes up the final two races of the Project D tour. While I feel it was a tad rushed, the final half of the last race was pretty darn good and ended with an "oh snap!" for sure. Though it seems this is the last series for the franchise, I would like to dream that there will still be more. I think giving us a glimpse of Takumi seeking out the professional drifting scene would be awesome. Anyways, if you love the series then definitely give this a watch!
