This anime is beyond good. It doesn't stop at the anime the manga is great too. I really enjoyed this.

a good old anime with some charming storyline and characters but i sadly announce that this is completely Unfinished for be short they have got some problems like Nyan Koi! and Trinity Blood they say something like the things are not finished but... they don't have the power to continue developing the anime or others major problems like a person important to the anime have died.... i'm little shocked because i really want to see a real end ..! but lets begin !

About The Story
the story is a little interesting after a couple episodes compared to the beginning because in the beginning we see something completely different from the serie we can say that the thing take a very different turn but not in a bad point .. , and the real things begin but... i have difficulty to describe this story because this is not finished... that's cannot finish like that and.. thats really destroy the hype of the story , but that's can be good and i really like it but they really need to finish this anime because this end really... i cannot accept this... , but anyway lets return when i have begin ... so they are in organization who hunts the zombie and this is their work this is more complicate than like i said but i don't want to spoil... so yeah !

About The Animation and Sounds
as you can see.. this is old so this is normal but in this time when HD don't have exist they used a good quality of graphics .. ! don't compare the graphics of today to a anime old like that... ! , for the sounds they are pretty normal but the Opening is a little bit good but just a little that's not in my favorite but yeah... and for the Ending i think he is better than the Opening ! i will leave you the link for it.. !

About The Characters
we got some cool characters and some of them who are secondary but pretty cool too this is sad that they don't have more episode for developing them.. i just can say that we only gonna get 2-3 characters completely developed and the others we never gonna known they real information... and this is because of the problems to don't have any continue.. :/

Chika Akatsuki / a white haired guy with a delinquent attitude but who are not soo bad .. he can be cool and can be sometimes piss off by some things but hey you're not gonna hate him don't worry .. ah and he use a sword for fight and he work at the Z-Loan

Michiru Kita / the innocent girl who are a little alone by herself if you catch what i mean but she have some friends but this thing will be very secondary , she wear glass too but when she take them off she can see black collar on the neck of the people.. what is this ? you will discover it in the serie but i will give you a hint ... that's gonna help the 2 others guys !

Shito Tachibana / this guy is pretty unemotional and very strict but can be kind if he really want .. lets just say he is very serious , he use a gun for fight and work at the Z-Loan and have some bad past.. 

 Bekkou / pretty interesting character and important one and can be funny but sadly this characters is not developed ... we cannot see all his potential... lets just say he is a Ferryman but he is very cool 

Yuuri Akatsuki / father of Chika but he is very funny and ... yeah.. you will only see him during 1 episode of the serie that's kinda sad because he have made me laugh a lot because of his attitude 

Momoka Akatsuki / little sister of Chika who look awesome but are everytime on his cell and look like to don't give a fk but she is .. she is a little cute okay..? but... you will see her only during 1 episode in the serie :/

Lyca / cannot describe it at 100% for not spoiled but you will only see him during 2 episode... dam .. yeah ..... he have a power who are a little cool ... but we cannot see his potential because of the circumstance... 

Shimotsuki Kuze / a little gothic loli who are pretty awesome and who are pretty serious and silence but she have a important role too in the organization she do not fight but have a important role.. and you will probably like it because of his charm .. but that's striking again... no more information

Otsu Sawatari / he work in the police but essential to the company because of some important information... he can look like a Yakuza but he is not and he have some like a blue flame power in his hand for fight..

Sotetsu Asou / a another guy who look like a delinquent but are .. we can say nice or cool and he have a motorcycle and like eating every foods in the world but he work in the organization too and fight with a spear

Yuuta / we can say he is the nurse.. because he have some healing power and his 2 hands talks ?! very special but anyway.. he can be funny and very kind ... but no more information.. =.='

Shinigami / supposed to be important but... NOT DEVELOPED AT ALL DAM !!!

for be short the characters development is very fked up because of the problems to don't have the supposed 23-26 + episode because of some circumstance... this is pretty sad but that's why D:

About The Enjoymentthis serie is very nice and can be totally awesome because of all the events who happens and the same goal they follow during the serie and you will not be bored ... the only problem who break up your fun is to know that there is no continue to the story and... really gonna make you .. depend on yourself.. xD but this is a good serie but just because of this thing that's can fked up your fun 

normally i will recommand it but sincerely i think this serie will never come back and really die ... like some nice others anime in 2007-2008 , i can say try it but i want you to know that there a high chance this serie never come back.. and they leave us on a Unfinished anime... who make the thing very bad like final... ! and the 2 specials are very important to watch because this is the supposed continue but thing have turning bad.. so..... they just show us the others episode they have make before they die and completely disappear ..

R.I.P Zombie-Loan.. 2007-2008 the truth will never be revealed and this poor Shinigami will never... sorry i can't write it LOOOL

Do you know how there are Animes that are really old, but still gold?
Well, too bad, this is not one of them.

Starting off with the good parts:
The setting is great. Not necessarily with the "Hunt Zombie XY", but with how Life and Death is handled here. It is pretty accurate to see what happens to people when they are confronted with Death and how they try to avert the end of their life, sometimes by any means necessary

Now, the setting may be great, but its not enough to keep you going. Why?
First off, the pacement is terrible. It is so slow, you basicallly can skip one half of an episode (of talking only) and youre still not missing out. The problem with that talking and filler moments is that they are simply not enjoyable. The dialogues are repetitive and the fillers are just meh. Some good scenes are there, but mostly it gets just annoying while you want to see the story progressing.
Also another huge part of the negative side is the character. There are some cool sidecharacters, but the three main protagonists with the lot of screentime are just a terrible bunch of people. Mainly they fight throughout the 13 episodes, on the basis of "YES" - "NO" - "YES". and so on. The problems within these 3 characters revolve around stuff like "He called me by my last name" or "I hope I can finally be a use to the team". At the beginning, its not as bad, as thats quite normal, but the later it goes, the constant denial of each side is just tiresome. No change can be found and emotional moments are presented poorly too. Thus the characters are a pain to watch and you're just hoping the next cool sidekick jumps in and ACTUALLY PROGRESSES THE SHOW.
Next up: the fights. While actually having well-thought bosses, they are boring. Often, the just wave around with their sword, not doing anything, and shooting is blocked somehow and then suddenly the enemies die with one sudden move somehow, always completely lucky. This is NOT how fighting is supposed to be, as its pretty boring to watch, also thanking to the terrible animation that can be seen. Example? One boss is not able to move, so it just sits there, leaving the team time for a midnight tea, but of course, to add some sort of suspense, they get too close and get caught and are punching it effortlessly, when suddenly someone sticks their hand in and it dies.

Also, the show is not finished. At the very point, where the real story starts and the setting takes another dimension, the story just drops.

I'd recommend not to watch it. Where's the point? Terrible characters, bad animation, no good fights, very slow pace and not even being able to actually watch the REAL story is just not worth those 13 episodes.

First of all, I started to watch this anime, because I'm currently reading the manga, and it is one of my favourites, so I decided to watch it animated. And maybe this is the reason, why my judgement is a little bit harsh.Well, the story is quite well made, not about the usuall zombie hunting. The main characters got the chance to overcome death by hunting zombies and pay the zombie-loan. But they only got one year to pay back the money and if they fail, they'll die. Of course there is the main female character with a special power, the shinigami eyes and the three of them try to reach their goal to get back their lives.I liked the story very much and I'm kinda glad that they stuck with the original manga plot and didn't fill the show with unnecessary things. But I'm really dissapointed that it's only 11 episodes long. They had finished it before the story started to get exiting and interesting. That's why I gave it only a 9.The art was much more worse than in the manga. Of course the character design was the same, but the animation ruined the whole show. This is not the '90, with the moving colored backgrounds or skipping the characters' movements. Still there were some really pretty scenes, and they used the fitting colors to express the mood. The way they did the characters was like in the manga and that part I'm satisfied with. However the action scenes the cause I just give the art 6 points.The sound was forgetable, only one or two track I still remember was good. I'm not a hardrock fan, so maybe that's the reason why I hated the opening. I only could listen it in the first episodes, after that I skipped it always. The ending was much better, still a rock style song, but it wasn't my taste either.The voice actors did great, I didn't have any problems with it. Nice job guys, but still a 6.The characters were the tipical shy and clumsy girl with special powers, the always persistent and restless main guy, and also the calm, mysterious third one. Also there are the usual group of three: one girl, two guys. Why is it always like this? 7Although it was far far away from the manga, and it was really short, I enjoyed it very much and it was good to see my fav manga animated. 8Even if the art and the sound only made it to a 6, I still recommend it to everyone who likes this kind of stuff. There is a little (very little) fan service, but that's not the main thing. You might enjoy it so just please, give it a try...7
