G-9 is weird.
It seems more like a student project than anything else. The animation—if you could call it that—is really cool; much of the is constructed of kanji. It feels as if each frame were drawn with a calligraphy brush by hand (and they probably were). There are so few frames it's more like a slideshow than animation, similar to the film La Jette
The audio wasn't too good. The voice acting was decent, and many of the sound effects were good; however, the music was not appropriate.
The characters—all two of them—were as good as you could expect characters with only 17 minutes of screen-time to be.
As I said above, this is really weird. I enjoyed it, but I can easily see someone else not enjoying it at all.
I would definitely watch a continuation if it were made.
