Despite mostly being previously used scenes, they were cut and altered to make a high intensity and fast paced story, highlighting the moments of slow silence and reflection. I'll make this part short.

The majority of this film was a recap with a decent bit of new insight on the background of Ulith and some extra on what happened after the second season. Overall I'd say it was worth watching if you are somewhat invested in the show or if you really wanted to see a solid, satisfying ending to the second season.

Also, I would recommend watching the entire thing if it's been a while since watching the first two seasons (trust me, things will make more sense).

(Actually, don't trust me; this is my first time writing a review).

Now on to the long part.

So, since most of the film was recap I'll be reviewing only the new content in the movie since that's probably why most of you watched it (or will watch it).

Story: 6/10

The story was okay. It was supplementary to the main story and elaborates on Ulith's past before she was a LRIG as well as adding an extension to the ending of the second season. This new content emphasizes further on the aspect of intertwined fates that was apparent in the series which partially acts as exposition to the ending. The story itself offered nothing extensive except for a fulfilling ending that I wouldn't want to spoil (and maybe some feels? I dunno, I'm not you).

Animation: 8/10

It was on par with the show.

Sound: 9/10

For Sound I will discuss it with the entire film in mind. Sound design and voice acting are great, especially the music, which was inserted so well across the recap and set the appropriate mood for each scene/scenes.

Character: 5/10

The new sections were mostly character building on Ulith and as I said before, it was supplementary, so for me it lacked value. The introduction of the character Sachi was really only a plot device.

Enjoyment: 7/10

Knowing it was mostly recap I didn't expect too much out of it, but I found that the integration of the new scenes into the recap was done well and wasn't just a slap-everything-new-at-the-very-end kind of thing.

Overall: 8/10

In conclusion, this movie is simply an exposition to the series. Despite being that, it was satisfyingly well done and only boosted my admiration for this show. I'm also biased and have shit taste.
