This movie is rather long which makes it difficult to sit down for. Its around 2 and half hours or more if I remember correctly. Im not gonna discuss the plot to avoid spoilers but this movie focuses on an unsolved case from the show's main plot in the anime. 
Just about everything is enjoyable from this movie as long as you enjoy the series itself, if you are not a fan of Ghost in the Shell this movie will simply eat up time. 

I personally recommend this movie due to being a huge fan of the series as well as the movie enthralls you in and makes you think.
