I literally love this anime too much, like seriously someone stop me.
Its fun to watch and a calm yet inviting storyline.

The english dub is also very well selected, i feel jessica nigri did an amazing job on her voice.

The main character is all round lovable (and the perfect waifu XD)

So SoniAni, I was surprised at the general rating for this anime. On one site was really low and I don't understand why on the other it was just average but normally the site overrates things as far as I can tell so again I was surprised. I don't really take much stock in what ratings other people give but if I was to say it would influence me in any way it would be that the lower the rating the more intrigued I am. In any case reading my thoughts on the whole rating business is not why you're reading this so I'll get to it.

Story:
Super Sonico is a college girl who works for a talent agency geared towards modeling but what she really wants to do in her life is become a professional musician. So as you would expect it shows her story and she tries to make this dream come true.

First thing to note is that this is ecchi at times, and even though I dislike that genre it didn't quite bother me here. I don't remember a time where I thought it was too over the top but everyone is a little bit different so just go into it knowing that as a "gifted" college girl and being a bit of an airhead some of the standard ecchi shots are there.

I personally enjoyed the story, it's basically a feel good story more or less you root for Sonico to do well and are pleased on how she handles whatever situation is thrown at her.

Animation & Sound:
Note: I am simplifying scoring on these sections.  

1 - if I noticed it was bad
2.5 - if I thought it was fine
5 - if I noticed it was good 

As I am not an expert on animation as a whole I can only give you my overall feelings which is not conducive for a 1-5 scale. I will be scoring the sound in the same way because I am more focused on the story and overall enjoyment in my scoring. 

Character:
As I noted above I enjoyed Sonico's character, she is bright and good natured and tries to do her best at all times. It's a good change of pace for me for all the brooding heroes or vengence seeking whomevers. This is the story about Sonico so her character is the most important but she has a few friends that are pretty stock in my opinion but since Sonico is the extreme "goody" I think the other two balance her out well. 

The few other characters that are main parts of certain episode continue to reoccur if I remember correctly so they are a continuing part of her story as she was a part of theirs.

So basically if you are looking for just a feel good anime and want to just cheer for a character to do well then this anime will do you fine. It's not complex and you can probably guess all the plot points but the overall message of just doing your best and aiming for your dream is a good thing to watch every now and again.

I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a straightforward anime in terms of story. If you're put off by any ecchi then this might not be for you though.

Just let's get into this fan service driven show right away!

Story.

I don't even know this anime is just really lacking Story but it's definitely not lacking plot,

The story is about this girl Sonico she is a Model/Singer & what ever the fuck she needs to be.

The Genre is supposedly Music but I've seen so much plot that I'm not sure were the music came in maybe episode 4 will have some Music but you never know with this anime.

Animation.

Animation is done by White Fox (They also worked on Steins;Gate & Hataraku Maō-sama)

So the animation is pretty good, i like the style.

Sound.

Sound is good it fits good but nothing memorable.

Characters.

The Characters are not interesting the only one i like is this guy.

This anime is supposed to make Sonico popular right but I'm disliking here more every episode she just does everything people just have to ask. She has no back bone.

The other girls have not really been in the picture.

Enjoyment.

I can't say i enjoyed it & I can't say that I hated it.

It's Fan Service so i will watch it when I'm really bored.

The plot you're looking for in this show is probably not the plot you're thinking of. ボイン？

I was hoping there would be an explanation why she has headphones permanently attached to her head.

If they ever had a shower scene and she was still wearing the headphones, I'd be worried. Unless she's actually a Cyberman? Now that would be a twist.

It's probably not fair of me to write a review since I dropped this after episode 2, but maybe I'll revisit this later to check out what people say about it when it's over. I just don't want to waste time watching this when I could be watching other shows in my queue.

NitroPlus, I am disappointed.
