I haven’t watched many comedy anime, but those I have were silly and had little to no plot. Maybe I haven’t watched enough anime to say this but I think the plot and characters were alot deeper than they needed to be which was definitely a nice touch. The comedy is really ironic with the MC seeming OP at first, but his bad social skills seem to make up for it. The only bad thing about this anime is how unrealistic the school was. The other characters and even the MCs actions were pretty realistic at first, (especially if you take his bad social skills into account.) It seems like they started taking the fact the anime takes place in a school less and less serious as the series continued.

If you like just straight up funny and random story’s then this is the anime for you. There are some life lessons but they show it in a funny way. Plus Sakamoto does some epic stuff.

I enjoyed watching this anime and when it finished, I couldn't believe that was it: my time with Sakamoto and class 1-2 was over. I am sad, but I'm eager to see the last episode and find out what happens next.
I've never seen such a cool yet weird character such as Sakamoto. He is most certainly one of my favs now. :)

Very surprising that I was able to watch this to the end. It's quite mediocre but as the topic was novel to me, just had to do it. I suppose the only factor that was able to keep me there is that Sakamoto never broke character, which probably led to that disappointing ending as there was no reveal, no strong finish. Just something pathetic.

This isn't a deep anime with an expanded story but frankly it doesn't really need it. Every episode consists of 2-3 short stories, usually about someone disliking the MC. Then the MC works his magic and he turns a bad situation in a good one and the 'villain' likes him.
This series selling point is purely the enjoyment you get out of watching it.
