Bad beyond words. There are some anime you want to watch out of how bad they are. This isn’t one of them. The story isn’t good. The visuals aren’t good. The audio isn’t good. The characters aren’t good. I sincerely wonder why they even bothered producing it.

This made me super moist! Best plot I'd ever seen; greatly paced and a very climactic, satisfying and coherent ending.

If someone was to ask me which anime director I consider the best, I would probably say either Yutaka Izubuchi (the director of RahXephon and the reboot of Space Battleship Yamato) or Shinichiro Watanabe (the director of Terror in Resonance, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy and Samurai Champloo).  But if you were to ask me which anime director I consider the worst, then I would only hesitate because I would need a moment to remember his name - Yoshiteru Satou.  If Masami Oobari is anime's Michael Bay, then Satou is anime's Ed Wood - just like Ed Wood, his work doesn't even have the ability to draw in money like M Night Shyamalan's or Uwe Boll's (who, while terrible, are at least profitable).

Skelter + Heaven is basically another one of those "city is under attack by an alien force, and it's up to a defense force that uses mechs to stop them" anime.  Except it's REALLY bad.  If you thought Studio Gonzo or Studio DEEN was the worst animation studio before viewing this, you will take back every bad thing you have said after you finish it - because compared to the animation done by Idea Factory, even the worst productions by those studios look as good as work by Studio Madhouse or PA Works.  The animation is only slightly worse than it was in Mars of Destruction, but that's only because Mars of Destruction didn't have terrible CG.

The sound, just like in Mars of Destruction, was terrrible.  I'm honestly convinced that there was no sound mixing.  In fact, if you were to tell me that this was all just an experiment to see how important sound mixing was to an anime's quality, I would actually believe you.

There are no characters to speak of - not even stereotypes.  The characters are pieces of paper.  You can say what you want about shows which have characters that fit stereotypes perfectly, but at least those shows HAVE character.

DON'T WATCH THIS.  Just watch something else!
