This is going to be a relatively short review, since there isn’t really that much to talk about for this.
Let me just preface this by saying that I am a huge fan of Steins;Gate, like it’s one of the few anime I can say is near flawless. So I went into this not knowing what to expect, and I was actually entertained by this.
These 4 episodes were all sponsored by IBM, and pretty much is just a commercial for their Cognitive Computing/AI. Despite it being what it is, it’s actually pretty entertaining seeing how they show off some of the things that it can do, and the final episode had a pretty touching moment in it. My favorite episode had to be the first one though, I always love a good episode revolving around food and cooking.
The episodes aren’t really connected at all, which as a fan of Steins;Gate let me down, but then I also think to myself you can’t really tell much of a story in like 16 minutes.
The animation quality was really nice, like way higher quality than I was expecting, though to be fair I was expecting choppy animation with like really bad quality.
Over all if you enjoy the main series and have a few minutes to spare I would recommend that you check these shorts out!

Even though these were "sponsored" by IBM, and really are kinda ads, they still give us some nice "Steins;Gate" related content, and it's nice to see and hear these lovable and familiar characters again.

Steins;Gate was an entertaining anime that kept me engaged for my entire first viewing, so when the movie trailer came out, I was quite excited. "Yes," I exclaimed, as I ran around the subway cheering. At one point I was stopped by a guard that was pretty annoyed with me, until he realised why I was so happy. Eventually, everyone at the subway began to party.
Everything was perfect for awhile there. None of us were sure how life could become any better, and we were sure our happiness would stay. Then the movie came out... As you can imagine, I was fairly disappointed with the Steins;Gate film. My world sunk into the depths of depression, and I was only recently able to return. Unfortunately for me, something was waiting for me... A new Steins;Gate short collection: Steins;Gate Soumei Eichi no Cognitive Computing. I was not ready for this, so soon.
So, I started up the series on my BETAmax player and I was certainly surprised. Steins;Gate Soumei Eichi no Cognitive Computing had everything that made the original Steins;Gate series so good. Who could forget the amazing cooking segments, the Siri-esk programs, the lack of time travel and of course the following maps across the city? Yes, this had everything we wanted.
The world was happy once again. For anyone that somehow doesn't realise, I'm not being serious...
