Just as a heads up, this anime has nothing to do with institutionalized, clinically insane people.
Based in a slightly futuristic setting, the story is centered around an artistic highschool girl who gets lost one day and falls into a group comparable to modern day hippies or rebels from society. In particular she grows close to a very rebellious cyborg boy who can "fly". The group struggles to express themselves as they are in constant conflict with the police. The movie progresses as the girl affects the lives of the hippies and tensions boil over with the police.

All in all the movie was quite pleasant and humorous, but the blocky CG animation threw me off. Personally, for me at this point in time, anything slightly CG that's not up to par with RWBY, animation wise, is seriously lacking. But if you can get past that, this is a decent "Fight the power" flick.

And Oh yeah. it's also kind of a Rom Com
