Lol. Whoever thought turning yoyo into a sport was a good idea? Well, the story is basically this: competition yoyo. Think of it like Beyblade, only a lot worse. So, it's basically about competitive yoyoing and dear god, who in the world decided this was a good idea? I remember that it was a manga, but I wasn't about to read it. Eventually, the main character hurts his arm, and even when I tried watching it, the premise was RIDICULOUS. I'll say it again: who thought competitive yoyoing was a good idea?
The animation is below average. That's to be expected for Xebec. The character designs are too Yu Gi Oh. What a waste of budget.
The sound is dumb, but whatever, it works with the world. Also, the dub has hilariously bad voices.
The characters are so typical in a "gotta catch 'em all" tournament setting that I don't even feel like describing them. As usual, the girl doesn't battle, so why do I even bother?
Overall, this anime was a waste with a ridiculous premise. Whoever thought this was a good idea is kidding themselves. Watch Beyblade instead.
32 out of 100.
