This is a tale of a girl (Angelique) Ange who doesn't truly know her worth. She is thrusted into a life that requires her to rely on the aid of the nine elemental guardians of the holy land. She was chosen to be the "Etoile" her job is to take the Sacrea of the Holy land guardians to the sleeping universe of Seijuu. Seijuu is a new universe that is in desperate need of help. If the universe cannot be saved the potential for the universe may be forever lost. Ange's mission should she chose to accept is to take the Sacrea to bring life back to the Seijuu Universe and awaken the sleeping queen. In order to do this she must go through many trials to understand that she is worthy of the task. Because Ange has been alone all of her life she doesn't really know how to love and be loved. Being that this is a reverse harem you can imagine that she falls into many interesting situations with a few of the nine guardians that she is not able to handle. Which causes her turmoil.
I personally am a lover of reverse harems, but this one is bit on the mediocre side. The story has great potential, but leaves quite a few loose ends. It would have been nice is Ange was a little more assertive, but I understand she is trying to find her way. I felt as though she spent more time running around than actually addressing her personal problems. Then **surprise** she no longer has a problem and then we lose a bit of storyline because it wasn't fully addressed. I guess I should be glad that she seemed pretty resilient. My other issue with the story is that it seemed she was the only one running around doing the work. Whilst her nine guardians were chilling in the holy land discussing what was going on. It seemed a little weird with all that manpower and technology intertwined that they couldn't be of more "physical" help to her.... I think that would have opened the adventure up to incorporate more interests in the love department, but hey this is just my opinion.
Overall it was just okay... I don't think this series will ever be on my re-watch list.
