Even though this is one of my favorite series, I'm not very found of the animated version. I really like the cast, and Yakumo is one of my favorite characters ever, but I feel like those 13 episodes weren't enough. That, and Haruka had so much more to give. Overall, I enjoyed it, yes, but mainly because I was also reading the two manga series and the original novels. That's what I would recommend if you want to know more about the story (and trust me, it is worth it).

i think this anime try to make you fall in despair and make you feel to the MAX soo much feels in this anime man... my god ..... lets begin

About The Story
the main objective of the story is not forget everything have a great sense at the beginning the story look like not understandable but everything become clear during the story , the side story are beautiful everyone have a very feel story and the negative things on the story is 1 thing i can't say you need to watch for know ...(sorry LOOL)

About The Animation and Sounds
the animation is not soo bad look like a mix of graphic from WitchBlade and Death Note so i like a little bit the animation this is not soo bad for a old anime and the sounds are normal nothing to say about this (i freaking like the opening)

About The Characters
everyone have problems they have all something in their feels you gonna discover this interressting things during the story 

Yakumo Saitou / he have a big weight on the heart and you can see he dont feel very good about it and have ability to see dead people (Ghosts) and this things is very helpful in the story without this i think they are f**k*d , he have a strong intelligence too about solve things look like the guy in Hyouka

Haruka Ozawa / she look not important she is xD.... this is a little bit strange in the 1-3 episode she is annoying but after this she become serious so i like that

Isshin Saitou / man.. this guys is just too kind okay ?

Kazutoshi Gotou / LOOL a Tsundere police officer he make me laugh some time i very like her personality because he is not soo stupid he know what he do

Yuutarou Ishii / this guy..... suprise me........seriously...  i can't forget that

Miyuki Nanase and Unkai Saitou / dam this 2 f**k*r in the story just get the f**k out , stop making trouble i hate this 2 LOOOOOL but they are really great in the role of bad people you can see they have a big problem in their heads...

About The Enjoyment
this is enjoyable but i recommend to don't rush it take your time to have others episode for later and just watch relax with some food and drink and the more important watch it in the night ! i have really enjoyed that ( like i talk alone to the characters im gonna show you a example : THE F**K ARE U DOING DO SOMETHING !!! ) yeah i know this is strange but i have too much enter in the story xD !

this is a really nice supernatural story with feels you have nothing to lost watch it tonight with some drinks and foods with light closed.

That quote completely describes the beauty of Yakumo’s power. Because of his cursed red eye, he can see the spirits of the dead. But he cannot touch them, purify them, or exorcise them. He can only speak to them. This is a cause for internal conflict for him, and what a heart-wrenching process that is.

One of Shinrei Tantei Yakumo’s strong points is its story. It is not completely original, but it is appealing and well-written. Everything in the plot is utilized to its full potential. Combine this with good pacing and foreshadowing, and an intriguing plot is created. The set-up is slightly repetitive, but only slightly, and will be familiar to those who revel in the detective genre.

The style of the art isn’t particularly ground-breaking, original, or gorgeous, but it’s well done. It definitely has some beautiful moments. Everything is pleasing to the eyes and the animation is smooth. Character designs aren’t the most original, but they do what they’re meant to.

I’m personally very fond of the music in this anime. It, again, fits the mood of the anime. It never feels like it doesn’t belong. The OP is beautifully haunting; the ED soothes you after a cliffhanger. OSTs are very nice, and all of the music is unique. The voice acting sounds good.

The characters are also pleasing. Everyone has their place in the anime, and all of the characters are lovable. Yakumo is a wonderful character; his emotions are real and he acts the way that he does for an apparent, and heart-wrenching, reason. Because of his red eye, he has been shunned, but yet you can always see that, deep down, he has a beautiful and pure heart.

The love interest, Haruka, is often clueless, but genuinely nice. She has strength, a big heart, and an adorable relationship with Yakumo. It’s apparent that she really wants to help him. Their relationship, though it doesn’t develop into anything huge, does grow in a really sweet, convincing way.

Supporting characters are equally lovable, and though they aren’t developed as much, they have wonderful moments and are never just tossed to the side.

Overall, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo is a good anime that is certainly worth a watch.

Too much things to say about this anime.

This anime it's funny and sad all at the same time!, and that's not easy to do. I just didn't know what to do, laugh or cry? i was like a person whit bipolar problems! OMG!

Besides that the sound tracks didn't was that good, i like the type of animation they made but it's not like the 1 that i like the most. I totally got inside the story i loved it and the characters were excellent in all the aspects that i was looking in the type of story it have it make a perfect match whit the story line, and not like most of the anime that have comedy it didn't in the most serious point never, NEVER make a stupid part and that was one of the think i loved the most of this anime.
