This is a special unaired of Little Busters! that focuses on humour, rather than drama and also has a decent amount of fanservice that is rarely seen in Little Busters! or Little Busters! Refrain. I would advise people to not watch this episode unless you have completed the Visual Novel or finished the first season.

Story: 8/10

The story is based off the "Mask the Saito" event that occurs in the Visual Novel and begins with the Little Busters! organising a battle ranking system, "The reason, of course, because it's exciting!" to see who becomes the King of the Battle Rankings. Once again, because it's exciting, the main protagonist, Riki, is placed last in 10th spot and has to fight his way through to reach the top. However, an unexpected challenger approaches...

The side plot for this episode focuses on the girls of the Little Busters! and looking to Kurugaya Yuiko for advice to help aid their personalities, however, she takes a far more humourous approach that leaves poor Komari as the tool for her amusement.

Animation: 8/10

The art is the same as the first season. It is not breathtaking, however, it is not bland either. I generally like the style which is easy on the eye, although it could be improved with greater detail, which is one of the criticisms that people have over J.C.Staff animating the series.

Sound: 10/10

As with anything Key I will always rate their music the highest possible because the music always fits the situation, whether it be the character, OP/ED themes, or just general conversation. I feel J.C. Staff uses the music available from the soundtrack to its best.

Characters: 10/10

Each character is no different as to who they were in the first season, where everyone has a distinct personality which you can relate to. Once again, props to J.C. Staff for keeping them true to the source material and keeping the original VAs from the Visual Novel where possible.

Enjoyment: 10/10

This episode is purely for enjoyment and I think it does a great job at doing just that. In my opinion, there is not one boring scene and there will be many laughs along the way.

Overall: 9/10

A great episode showcasing the light and comedic side of the Little Busters!
