Re: Cutey Honey
Re:キューティーハニーA mysterious organization known as Panther Claw make their presence known by terrorizing Tokyo and giving the cops a run for their money. Police are further baffled by the appearance of a lone cosplaying vigilante who thwarts all of Panther Claw's evil schemes before disappearing. That cosplayer is Honey Kisaragi, the result of the late Professor Kisaragi's prize experiment. A master of disguise, Honey can magically alter her physical appearance and outfits. But with a push of the heart-shaped button on her choker, she transforms herself into Cutie Honey, the scantily-clad, sword-wielding warrior of love and justice. (Source: ANN)

Re: Cutie Honey feels like Gainax's test-run for Panty and Stocking and Kazuki Nakashima's for Kill La Kill. It's not something that stands out as brilliant or amazing, but the great thing is, it doesn't try to be. At times the show is a little ridiculous, but at its core, it's charming and never tries to take itself seriously. Even though the story and plot aren't masterpieces of anime, it will always have re-watch value. Re: Cutie Honey gladly plays into its own tropes, and is shamelessly full of delicious ecchi fan-service, yet still manages thought-out characters. Basically, watch this if you want a hot plate of Badass Babes.
