The Dragon Dentist
龍の歯医者The story takes place in Dragon Country. Nonoko is a newly appointed dentist and her mission is to protect the dragon, the guardian of the country, from tooth-cavity bacteria. One day, amid increasingly fierce battles with the neighboring country, Nonoko finds on the dragon's tooth an unconscious boy soldier from the enemy country. His name is Bell, and he has been resurrected from inside the tooth by the dragon—a supernatural phenomenon that legend says occurs before a major disaster. Now now, when I had this to my “Want to See” list I thought it was going to be a funny story about dentists and dragons. Here I was really wrong.
It was much more touching than I expected, I have to say this was beautiful. Even if it wasn’t, it was almost for me as if I was watching a poem (not reading cause I did watch it).
I don’t want to tell much about it because I believe you need to see it to understand what I’m talking about. Moreover, I am still shocked because of how much I liked Ryuu no Haisha to explain very well why it was amazing.
I would definetely recomand you to watch it, especially if you are a pacifist.
