Yes, it may not be the best anime, being a bit slow at times and final reveal a bit cliche, but no one can deny that the plot was at least interesting and the production value was much better than average.

In my opinion this anime was amazing. I loved it. I couldn't wait for the next episode and the ending left me feeling satisfied. I've seen a lot of animes and this one is definitely worth the watching.

I honestly don't get what people want from this anime. When its praised people dislike the review and when the anime is hated it still gets disliked. So I wonder what do you guys want? Does the community hate this show or dislike this show? I honestly don't get it.

This anime takes the cake this season, and I don't care what you say it's 3am.
The animation and sound are really good, the concept of going back in time is nothing new yet well interpreted, the story is near unpredictable and the characters are very well developed and portrayed.
I'm not saying I'm a fanboy but I'm a huge ball licking fantrap for this anime man.
Ah yeah also fuck the killer, I'm taking a huge sweaty steamy ding dong on his head by the end of the anime; and if FOR SOME GOD FORSAKEN REASON he's not found by the end of the anime I'm rating it 0/10 and flagging it for racism, waifu abuse, racism and nazi.

The thrill, the tension made by the series, with some comedy filler in the story development that captivates your excitements. The simple story development despite being complicated and exciting (ikr, kinda like a paradox). What else? Kinda hard to explain it by words. It's just simply amazing
Clearly the best anime of the season. Even over Musaigen no Phantom World produced by KyoAni (My number 1 anime production house)
Not to mention the awesome OP and ED songs.
Seriously recommended.

The story: Satoru Fujinuma has the ability to prevent deaths and catastrophes by being sent back in time before the incident occurred. Usually this power only sends him back a few minutes right before the accident, but after he becomes framed for a murder, he gets sent back to when he was a grade schooler.
At that particular time, there was a child kidnapper/serial killer on the loose. Kayo Hinazuki was one of the students who died in the event. Satoru remembered he could have saved her back then and decides that this he must save Kayo from her death.
My thoughts: As I write this review, there are only 2 episodes out. I may be a little early to judge it yet, but so far this series has an interesting story, beautiful animation, and interesting characters. I feel like the art style really matches the story of the anime (kind of like 5 Centimeters Per Second). I have high expectations for this anime and I expect it to turn into something amazing.

Boku dake ga Inai Machi A.K.A ERASED is a show currently airing in the winter season of 2016. Like many shows out there, it borrows art styles, sound cues, and similar story elements from many other successful anime (and t.v/movies). Unlike its competitors that tend to flop under the mainstream pressure, ERASED makes great strides by keeping its story close to its charterers and closer to its dialogue. With its high quality production all around, it is not an anime you want to miss.
Overall with only two episodes currently out it already has a spot reserved when it finishes in my all time favorites.
UPDATE:
6 Episodes in and its still great. The story is advancing at a good pace and charterers keep developing spectacularly. I would say if any part would be lacking it would be the dialog at some points but this is only comparative to its other amazing parts. Overall opinion hasn't changed.
UPDATE:
Episode 10 so far now. The major plot twist hit and it was pretty good. If your detective skills are half as good as or better than Satouru's you would have figured it out by now. That doesn't make it bad, but I think a larger part of its purposeful storytelling. With two episodes left its make or break time. The show has already proven itself, it just needs to finish its gold medal marathon and its a contender for first place this year.
Verdict:
The show ended and it was for the most part lack luster, but overall the show was great. Good quality, tasteful cliffhangers, and great overall completion. I would say that I expected more to come from the end, but that just shows how well the show has performed up to that point. Either way it took away from its overall performance with that kind of ending and this dropped it one point from my final score. Still a great show, definitely would recommend, but its also definitely not leaving me with as strong of an impression as I would have hoped.
