Brave 10
ブレイブ・テンIsanami, a young priestess of Izumo, is forced to watch as a group of evil ninja burn her temple to the ground and slaughter the people within, leaving her no choice but to flee into the forest to escape the same fate. By chance, she stumbles upon Saizou Kirigakure, a masterless ninja from the Iga school. The two travel to Ueda Castle to ask Yukimura Sanada for help. Isanami's possession of a strange and devastating power is revealed, and Sanada readily agrees to help her, gathering ten brave warriors to Isanami's side. Thus begins Brave 10, a story set in the Warring States period. It follows Saizou and Isanami's journey throughout the war-laden lands in search of brave warriors to serve under Yukimura's banner, each possessing powerful skills of their own. They'll have to travel far and wide, all while trying to fend off those who would chase after the dark power that she possesses to make it their own.

Brave 10, a perplexing serie...
The reason is that it is much too short, with too many characters and a story ... that we finally know nothing.
In fact, we will never know really why ten warriors gathered by a noble find themselves face various enemies and protect a young girl with a mysterious power over which we have very little information.
Twelve episodes for the top ten, they are illustrated by the arrival of a new brave, and a general struggle for the last two episodes. And the series stops, and in the end, if I were asked to summarize the story, I would not know what to say because the purpose of the story is not told. Which is really the bad guy, what he wants, where all this leads us, we know nothing.
Too bad, though! Because with a very nice design, characters too stereotypical (though Saito seems a bit plagiarized on Sasuke Uchiwa), good entertainment, nice music, this anime have big strenghs... But this is not enough to fill the void. An empty so great that, who have alway one thing to say, I realize that my review will be short.
Twelve episodes with unimportant stories, heroes who will not be thorough and a scenario that the format will not start, that's what Brave 10. A second season would have been welcome.
To pass the time.

Basically focuses on introducing the characters... one episode at a time. The characters are good, but its very rushed, the animation and fighting sequences are also good. I'd watch again, this time with lower expedtations.
Don't expect the show to be like the intro.

What i'm writing here isn't much of a review. These are just all my thoughts on the show.
Some things to Note:
I havent seen or researched the source material.
Hell, i haven't even gathered any important facts for this review.
I may even overrate this anime. But this is only my opinion.
STORY
First of all the story is pretty typical of an action anime set in a more supernatural Sengoku era of Japan. It just tells us a story of the Sanada 10 also known as the Sanada Brave 10 in this anime. It has no stand out plot twists or any great speeches. But the thing i like about this anime i like is the simplicity of the plot. I don't need to keep my brain active to watch it. But by no means is it great nor does it have to be.
ANIMATION
I'm sure the anime has flaws in its animation somewhere but i couldn't pick them out instantly. The colors were great as well and had some irony but explaining that would spoil the show. The action scenes as far as I'm aware were fluid.
SOUND
The background music was pretty forgettable but the voice acting had accurate emotions in most situations. The opening was decent and I liked the ending alot.
CHARACTER
The characters that were meant to be liked were indeed likeable (if that's a word). The antagonists motives were pretty cliche though. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Isanami and Saizo grow.
ENJOYMENT
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and was never bored while I watched it when there was action or not.
OVERALL
I had a great time watching this show and so should you if you watch it with ease and don't critisize it with all your might. Its not something for everyone to watch but i certainly got the feelgood factor from this show
Thanks for reading and until next time.

This anime is based on a historical novel from the Edo Period about 10 ninja that Sanada Yukimura gathered to his service in the Sengoku Era.
Not all of the characters from the novel make appearances in Brave 10; instead, the show (and manga) feature some original characters, including the main girl Isanami. If that name doesn't sound familiar to you, please to be going to research Japanese religion. Here, have a link to the relevant goddess.
It's not great, but it's got some okay action and it's filled to the brim with really cool character designs.
I feel like half of it drug, and the much of the rest of it seemed rushed, but there were some really neat moments.
It's not something I would go out of my way to watch again, but I don't feel like my time was entirely wasted with it, either.
