My Hero Academia

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested extraordinary superpowers called “Quirks” at age four? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Becoming a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? U.A. High's Hero Program of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless? Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn't got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all gives him a chance to change his destiny… (Source: Viz Media)

One of the best. Very heartfelt first couple of episodes. Got the right hook. :) For the category it’s in, truely deserves a look!

The story was a slow starter but only began to become extremely intreseting at the last episodes of the season, The sound was well put and character Design was superb animation could have been better..at some points in the Episodes where it lost that phenomenal art style with the animation combined

Boku no hero academia is just fun. Honestly anyone who likes superheroes and and comic book themed media, should really give it a try. If you were let down by the recent movie release, based a certain comic-book universe *ahem* Suicide Squad. Then this show definitely ease the pain, by telling a story that hasn't been ruined, yet. The only think I want from this show, is more of the show.

Eh, first of all, the plot is like similar to One Punch Man. But Boku no Hero Academia, or BNHA for short, is like the opposite of OPM (One Punch Man). BNHA has this weak MC whereas OPM has this over powered MC. Both anime has like heroes where they care about reputation and such by going to this specific school/work to be classified as a "hero". Oh, I forgot to mention. BNHA is way more serious than OPM. Deku, the main character, strived to become a hero. Whereas Saitama just want.. money I guess?? (lol i could be wrong but you get the point). In conclusion of my comparison, I really liked BNHA more than OPM. However, I liked OPM's animation for this one.

I forgot what I wrote but it was basically the music is awesome I enjoy this show a lot. The character designs are unique. Something something plus ultra. If you haven't watched My Hero Academia, watch it. It starts slow, but episode 12 is the best thing to come from the human race so far, so enjoy kids.

The story for the show is very well written considering that on first look it was just another shounen action show. I found the story was good enough to be self contained but until the second season is released I cannot say it was good enough to recommend years down the line without it. The characters were good but there was no character that stood out as being unique on their own but their interactions with other characters is interesting. Animation was really solid and while the artwork was different I thought it fit the series better than the normal anime art style. The music in the show was decent at best and the only standout tracks were the opening and ending. Even the voices were just average with nothing I can say was beyond average. While I have marked the series as average based on individual factors when they come together you get a really enjoyable experience that I would say is worth a watch. If season 2 lives up to what we got in season 1 I may raise the score for now I will give the show a 4/5 rating.
