F-Zero GP Legends known from its awesome games on the Nintendo but also for the all known Falcon Kick! But now the Anime series! On first looks it doesn't give you wow effect, even after a couple episodes it doesn't really turn out to be good although than when we're almost in the middle of the story the development and buildup towards the last episode gets started, when this starts it really becomes interesting!The story takes such a turn in quality that it sure is a good watch and one epic story in total! It made me even play the old games again!The story it self is rather good, a slow but quite decent buildup, takes a various amount of different takes like brilliant (race) action and slight romance development and not to much side stories and only one recap near the ending of the series but all by all quite a decent pace and finishing plot!The art is a bit old but for the time it was created in combined with the CGI it was still pretty decent the combination of the 3D models of the Vehicles and than the normal drawn art is pretty well done and they made it so that it fits, it is a bit getting used to in the beginning but when you're enjoying the racers it will only get better!The quality of the sound is a bit on the lower side as the dub wasn't always the best nor the sound effects although the casting for the dub was actually quite good especially for Black Shadow!The Characters where quite unique and do follow quite good on the games character concepts, most are based upon the game witch is quite nice to see but some are original as well and that's also a nice take on that! The best characters in this are of course Captain Falcon, Ryu and Black Shadow as they're mainly the lead characters and more or less determine the whole story!I quite enjoyed watching this anime especially the last couple episodes where the quality really increased with story development and pace! So in total I give this anime a very good score of 8/10
