Story: Takahashi Eriko was a recent junior high graduate looking really forward to going to an all-girls high school with her two best friends, Suzuki Yuma and Sato Ayano. That is, until she finds out that being around a bunch of girls isn't as comfortable as she thought it would be, and any ideas she had about high schoolers being more mature than junior high schoolers (the reason she was excited to go to high school in the first place) is blown away in the wind. Still, though, that doesn't stop her and her friends from still having fun, along with three new friends that also are new to high school.

Now that sounds a bit generic and dull for a story, I know, but with good characters, good conversations, and good environments to play off of it could still be a pretty decent anime... right? Wrong.

Do not be fooled, this is not about some high school girls trying to put up with high school and make there time worthwhile as the first episode wants you to believe, this is just another dumb excuse to show off some panties and boob/crotch shots for all of those dumb guys out there.

And I do mean it, all the episodes I have seen are chock loaded with this in some way or another. It's like they didn't want to do a slice of life but just make situations off a 'slice of life' and shoe horn in some fanservice and all that crap.

The first episode, despite the fanservice was actually pretty decent, and it led me to believe that the show could be getting better slowly but surely thanks to it. Man was I wrong.

In Episode 2, the girls try to do a health examine with nothing but aprons on, and yes, they wear this for majority of the episode.

Episode 3 is no better, the girls go to a karaoke to find some guys to hook up after hearing that one of their friends lost her virginity in the previous episode to a guy she just met (yes really). Also a thirteen year-old girl nearly loses her virginity also. Um... funny?

Episode 4 is just a sports festival with fanservice shoe horned in... its almost like Eiken except... not as bad. The next episode preview showed nothing but butts, boobs, swimsuits, and that teacher with the hairy chest and speedo, and I immediately turned off my computer and hadn't touched the show since.

I heard the show may or may not have gotten better, what with some drama and episodes with the characters meeting, a manipulative sibling, and a girls boyfriend seems to like her just for her glasses... wait what? Honestly I... I got nothing. I don't know if there executed well or not, but really, would you want to watch this and see if this gets any better? I sure wouldn't.

Animation: The animation is very... bad. Ok not awful, but it really could have been better, the background designs are just like all the others in high school anime. Characters look mediocre and bland, it doesn't look very good to watch.

Sound: The voices aren't that bad actually, the characters voices are not that good and fits them well, but they're aren't annoying (the characters are however but we'll get to that later). The music is forgettable and uninteresting. The OP and ED have uninspired imagery during them and the music is dull.

Characters: The main characters are pretty terrible. The websites portrays them in regular roles like in almost every other school anime but the show has some of them in almost completely different roles.

Eriko is apparently a happy go lucky girl who is clumsy and tries to help others whenever she can. What I saw from her though was a narcissist, nosy, irresponsible brat who whines and complains.

Yuma is a short tempered one and likes to get herself in trouble, even though the first episode had her in the complete opposite role. She's just as bad as Eriko.

Ayano wears glasses and is shy and nice. She's also the most dim witted and what ruins her is the fact that she has weird perversion in her head which are more creepy than funny. She often is victim to getting hit by the others for PDA's (which by the way IS NOT FUNNY).

Akari is at first a rival to Eriko's group, but she quickly becomes friends with them after they brag about going to school with boys. She also likes changing clothes to make a lasting impression but honestly, she's just a more hyper Eriko.

The only good characters in this are Himeji and Ogawa. Himeji is the most serious one and I like her demeanor and friendship between her and Ogawa, she also gets tempted by boys but does give them a taste of there medicine which is pretty satisfying. Ogawa is just a cute young girl of the group who also can get out of a tight spot Mr. Bean style, which is the only funny thing in this show. Sadly they don't get as much screen time as the others which is kind of lame but what ever.

The other characters are not memorable in the slightest so there's that.

Enjoyment: Aside from episode 1 and a few characters, I did not enjoy this show at all. I would not recommend it.

Overall: There are plenty of better high school anime out there honestly. While I can see some people liking this, I would not recommend it. I tried giving it chances but its not for me.

Pros: Himeji and Ogawa

Cons: Everyone else, bland art, forgettable music, terrible animation, and fanservice overshadowing and ruining the story

Recommendations: A Channel, Pani Poni Dash, Yuyushiki, and KINMOZA! I'd say Lucky Star but they don't focus on school as much as... well otaku stuff. Also I hear the manga is way better since it does a better portrayal on high school life but I have not read it yet so I wouldn't know...
