This story "hints" at a reverse harem I think.

 Nadja Applefield is trying to find her mom as well as figure out her own identity. The story begins in Applefield orphanage. Nadja's grandfather (Duke Preminger) is looking for Najda while keeping the secret from her beloved mother that she is alive. Why you ask? Because the Duke actually wants Nadja to become the heir to the Priminger house over his deadbeat son. Nadja early on discovers that her mother is alive after she received a package for her 13th birthday.  The package provides clues about her mother and she decides that she will set out to find her after her presences threatens Applefield Orphanage.  On top of that true heir (Uncle Henry Preminger) wants to foil his fathers plans.  Nadja must protect herself and her "precious broach" so, travels the world with a band of merry entertainers the (Dandelion Troupe) . Along the way she meets several reoccurring characters that help her understand life from many different aspects.  Nadja is a kind and helpful girl who's naive ways do get her into a bit of trouble (constantly). On top of that a 13 year old has to figure out love while running for her life. I personally didn't think there was enough true time for the love interests to develop, but I could see that infatuation may be the appropriate/better diagnosis. There is a bit of action by a noble posing as a "robin hood" masked hero Keith and his brother Francis who is more on the boring noble side. Not only are they brothers, but the story somehow turns into a brief "brocon".  I think the love interests are a little complex for a 13 year old in this story, but what do I know. (Yes, there is a lot going on.) It seems like quite a few of the main characters are going through an identity crisis of some sort. That does make things interesting.
