Even though the second season wasn’t as good as the first one, I think we can all say that it was still unbelievably well put together.
Season two is very much action based. Even though the plot might not progress as much as it did during the first season of AOT, Eren’s character certainly does.
This season’s fight sequences were impeccable and very much awaited I believe. The season ended on a massive cliffhanger, possibly an even bigger one than the previous season.
Season 3 is due to air in 2018 and was announced during season two’s last episode.

If you enjoyed the first season of Attack on Titan you will likely find the season to your liking. To people who had lots of problems with the first season, you might find this season more digestible.
Animation:
Feels like it hasn’t been a day while its actually been four years. The animation feels like it always has but has also (mostly) been upgraded. However, the show still has some of the problems it had in its first release with far to many shaky pictures being used in place of animation. The CG can also look horrendous at times and kinda ruins the Colossal titan for me. But other than those issues, the animation is really good and a few sequences in the show are some of the best in all of anime.
Music: It’s Attack on Titan. Half of my score for this show may as well come from how well the soundtrack holds it up. The music in this show is just outstanding and is used to its maximum potential, no complaints.
Story and characters: This season felt a lot more personal than season one, with several side characters getting backstories and a second half fueled by all sorts of emotions. This is great for some characters but others get a little sidelined, even if its not a bad thing in some cases. Titans are also back to being on full display, as the first half briefly returns them to their terrifying glory…even if it kinda drops that in the second half with some goofy bits. Also, the deaths are the most brutal they’ve been the entire show and all the major ones leave a huge impression on the viewer. And its not just because of shock value…mostly. My one complaint is the start is a little slow in the first season but the last few minutes of that kick the season into high gear…even if it shifts from that from time to time.
Overall: I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the first season of AOT, as it feels nice to return to the series after so long. For others, I think this season may help to better your opinion of the series even if it has some of the same faults as the first one. Give it a watch and I don’t think you’ll be dissapointed.

One of the greatest season’s I’ve watched so far!
Has a few solid twists and and a couple of slow episodes but with each episode is extremely important to the whole story, especially the one’s with plenty of dialogue.
Season 3 has some big shoes to fill!

Gorgeous as usual, but instead of the high octane action of the first season we have a lot of world building for seasons to come in a more somber tone. Gladly theres a new season coming in 2018; if it gets 24 or 36 episodes we’ll be at a good ending point of the series: Just before the time time skip in the manga where all major plotpoints set up in the first season are wraped up.

Shingeki no Kyoujin is SUGOI to the power infinity, no doubt. Every bit of information revealed in this season got my jaw dropping to the floor as if I was a gomu-ningen like Luffy.
HOWEVER, this anime is testing my patience. I waited FOUR whole years for THIS SHORT THING? This was more of a teaser for the 3rd season. They better release season 3 soon or I might die of starvation -_-

If anyone is going through a difficult time at the moment just think. If you die now you’ll never find out what was in the god damn fucking basement.
