昭和元禄落語心中～助六再び篇～Ex-convict turned Rakugo apprentice Yotarou has finally taken the name of Yurakutei Sukeroku III, and with his master Yakumo's permission has attained the lofty rank of shin'uchi. He assumes the name at a critical time for Rakugo, with audiences fewer than ever. At the same time he has started acting as a husband to Konatsu, who is now a single mother. Yotarou thus begins the struggle to fill the role of Sukeroku, both as the future of Rakugo and as a part of Yakumo's and Konatsu's lives. (Source: ANN)

Yo no vi la primera temporada, solo vi esta nueva, y la disfrute sin necesidad de entender la primera, haciendo una buena historia. Me gusta que en cada capitulo se practique el arte del Rakugo, sin dejar un solo capitulo de este medio. Me encanto el desarrollo de los personajes, pero para mi, no me encariñe tanto por ellos y la historia podría volverse pesada para muchos por ser tan lenta. Pero si, ese final es tremendo, y varios escritores deben conocer esta historia antes de contar la suya.

I just finished watching episode 11 and I bawled my eyes out for 5 minutes straight and made gross sobbing noises and now I have a runny nose.
Call this an emotional review, but I’ve never shed any tears over an anime before, much less had a crying breakdown. There’s something about this anime that just feels like it reflects life so well, I just love it.
I highly recommend this show, especially to those going through a tough time and needing a cathartic release. (Also, the animation in the really important moments is just gorgeous.)
