Kuroko's Basketball 2
黒子のバスケWith the Interhigh Championship finally over, Seirin's basketball team refocuses their efforts, training harder than ever to get the chance to participate in the Winter Cup. Both Kuroko and Kagami see old friends walk back into their lives, providing a challenge both on and off the court. As new skills are developed and new alliances created, enemies from various teams—giants of high school basketball such as Yousen, Shuutoku and Touou—stand in the way of Seirin's steadfast attempts to get to the top. All of these schools prove to be formidable foes whose abilities progress exponentially, while Kuroko struggles to find a balance between his resolve to play as part of a team and his desire to win. With old wounds reopening, new challenges to face on the court, and a new set of foes—the "Uncrowned Kings"—vowing to defeat the new hopefuls, will Seirin ever be able to achieve their dream of beating the Generation of Miracles? Kuroko no Basket first season, offered us a superb sports shonen before which it was hard to remain indifferent. but this season is she as good as the first?
So it will be impossible to me to be objective as I loved it !
How I envy you, the viewer, who watches series then it is now complete! You, you save yourself the unbearable suspense between episodes !
Because yes, Kuroko No Basketball season 2 is also good. No... It is better. It overwrites more widely than his big sister, season 1.
Animation? I could talk for hours about the animation. It's fluid, it's powerful, it's incredibly beautiful, that is at you to stick in your bed / office / etc.. Decorated with some special effects "We are in the shonen need not look realistic" (Luminous trails behind balls, etc.), games turn into an explosion of movement impeccably made without the quality of the design not tarnished at once. Special mention to episode 24 which left me glued to this success. The chara has not changed but the colors are less bland than in the season 1. To summarize, we feel clearly the difference in budget!
Music, and a good additional ost that always fits perfectly, we have two openings, the first displaying all the technical progress of the anime, rocked by a beautiful piece of Granrodeo. The second easily appear softer and less good. Mention the ending "Fantastic Tune" we have the right to have Kuroko's Seiyuu in there and it's just.. beautiful !
Characters and scenario, there's not much to say. We have the same people and we are in competition, the famous Winter Cup: we will focus more on the progress of the protagonists as an evolution of their minds, with some exceptions (mainly Aomine and Murasakiba). Note, however, many personal challenges in addition to the original objectives, and some are frankly not "folichons", (Teppei was a very prominent figure, determination despite his condition is impressive). New, more or less interesting arrivals are expected.
(Fangirl time : Kuroko has f****** class from beginning to end and frankly, what would Seirin do without him ?.... I give any merit to Kagami during games, but morally, without Kuroko, they're would never arrived)
Progress so. Oh yeah people, we are in the shonen ! and the bit exaggerated side in Season 1 turns paranormal in Season 2. They are not human, they are monsters! improbable jumps, shots that disappear, second states where the force is amplified. Here a flood of varied and inhumane technical landing. Zero realism, but damn that it throws ! And, although many as Kagami were very surprising, palm progress returns to Kuroko and we understood why watching the series. For games, it's just .... hell on the nerves! The tension in season 1? Three times in Season 2. Every minute is grueling for the players and for ourselves, each end of the episode is a rage session ("shiiiiiiit !!! next episode next episode!!"). The atmosphere is breathtaking and there is not a single episode I've managed to stop before the end ! Honestly, I regard as a work of art all anime / series / etc that manages to convey the emotions at this point. There are not fundamentally many things to say about this season 2, except that despite a somewhat abrupt end, it is just mind blowing. It's a perfect result which accumulates qualities and shows only little (no?) Defaults. Season 1 was much more than good, so this one is a true wonder !
A last word ? SEASON 3 !!!!!!

Amazing anime that helps both sporty and non-sporty watchers to relate. Loved how realism is still portrayed even with their powers and what not.

Notice: This is a review of the first two seasons. Season 3 has no impact on the final score. Also, the real score is a 4.25/5, but Hummingbird doesn't have that option so...yeah. Enjoy.

Well, wow. That was so good, I don't even know what to say. This is so much better than the first season. The first installment's satisfaction relied primarily on the fight involving Kaijo High; and although Kise was very adorable, it was some sort of weakness in the series as a whole, in my opinion. But this was fully compensated in the second season - in fact, it was much better than what I was expecting.
I never expected to experience this kind of heart-pumping action, keeping me at the edge of my seat as though I were watching the game in the arena as well. I was practically shouting the entire time as the seconds ticked by in the intense games. (Although this still bore the flaw of sports-themed anime. The 20 seconds remaining seemed like 5 minutes to me.) But I would have to applaud the way the ability to produced tension has been very much improved. This was exemplified in the fight between Seirin and Kirisaki Dai Ichi. Talk about pressure.
I especially loved the fight of Seirin between Touou High and Yosen High. First off, the fight with the Generation of Miracle's strongest player. It was so satisfying, and since I absolutely love Aomine and Kagami, it was all the better. I loved watching every minute of Aomine's movements in the game. And everything was so much better in the Zone. I was surprised with the fight between Yosen though. I kind of expected more pressure here because they had two aces, but I didn't seem to feel Himuro's presence too much; at least, not in the way I was expecting, so I was rather disappointed. But it was a good match, and it made me yell at the computer screen too.
I'm so proud of you, Kuroko! You can finally shoot now! There wasn't much character development, but it didn't seem to be too much of a problem to me, since the storyline itself seemed to compensate for this. But I already love the characters as they were, anyway, so it was fine. (Who wouldn't, for goodness's sake? They're too hot.)
Kuroko no Basuke reminds me in some ways of Prince of Tennis (which I thoroughly enjoyed), but fortunately, Kuroko no Basuke managed to shine in its own way. Not only with the basketball moves, but also with its characters.

Kuroko no Basket is actually one of the most exciting sports anime I've watched so far, indeed, some people may say it like "damn those characters can play fcking godly!" for most kiseki no sedai players, but that's what makes the show more interesting right?
There's a little spoiler, so read at your own risk.
Story: 7/10
The story of the season two is actually a continuation from the last episode of season 1, which is the winter cup tournament, I know that some of the games actually takes us to watch for 2-3 episodes long, some of them are fun to watch and some of them are not. I actually really like for how all the game for each tournament goes on the story but my only main problem is that it is kinda funny to see that Seirin always wins by one point ahead their opponent, I know, there are times that they actually lack abilities to beat the other teams, but they always ended up being the winner. It actually also makes me hate to say this but, just to make Seirin win the game, Kagami's bein' to overpowered and feels like godly himself. That's why I hate Seirin so much.
Animation: 9/10
I can't say much about the animation and the flow of every character in the series, it is almost perfect, not like some robotic things the other anime have.
Sound: 8/10
I have too much to discuss about the sound of the anime, but first, let me just say this that THE ANIME'S FIRST OPENING OR THE OTHER SELF IS JUST AMAZING!! I prefer the first one than the second one. Okay time for the anime's sound..
There's actually nothing wrong with Kuroko no Basuke's 2nd season sound, in fact it is actually quite clear. Except for the english thing Kagami and Himuro spoke, I can barely understand it, in fact it's obvious that I will not understand their english if there's no subs. /sobssobs
Character: 9/10
OH YES THIS. It actually made me laughed when I realized that only the Kiseki no Sedai, along with Momoi Satsuki and Taiga have these amazing hair colors lmao.
*coughs* Okay excuse me for that, but the character illustrations are so far good. Every character is unique, and for every character they have different styles of gaming and such.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Thanks to Kagami and Himuro's english, I actually enjoyed the anime lol jk. But the anime is really exciting as it is, you really don't know who will win the game. Unless you know about the power of one point ahead of Seirin. As I said, every character has their own styles of playing, which it makes it even more exciting.
Overall: 8/10
Can't say much for now, read it all above and you'll know why. But I definitely recommend this anime if you love sports genre. Lovely art and amazing opening and ending songs.
