This show is... okay. It kind of bothers me that the main characters of the shows are always justifying why it's ok to kill someone, but those reasonings are egotistical. That been said, I like characters like Akame and Esdeath. I'd watch the show just to see them.

Review as of episode 7

So Far Akame Ga Kill is really enjoyable, with great action sequences, likeable characters and a good opening/ending theme and soundtrack. The anime has some dark themes but does not carry a dark tone throughout, with some funny moments that don't really detract from the overall quality. The first few episodes may be 'average' but as it takes on new events from the manga, it can only get better.

Not particularly original and has some less than perfect dialogue, but this is made up for by a very interesting setting and is just fun to watch

Its actually quite a good anime. I mean some of you won't like the first episode, but its actually quite good on the further episodes. I have read the manga too, and it has quite the good story. Hopefully alot of you will watch it.

Ok, this is how things are : (3 episodes watched. Please no more...)

Story:
¿Excuse me?...
Ohhh... ¿Wait, you mean that bunch of contradictory and wrongly placed elements?. Well... It looked just like a kid listing randomly the stuff he likes the most, compiled into animated frames... Didn't knew, really...

I mean, sure I wear my school uniform all the time too, totally.

And there are at least 3 facts that bugged me:
1. Is not that they are part of a revolutionary army but they are the Intelligence part of it. Still they don't do any intelligence work, they get jobs of nowhere that tells them who to kill.
2. This so said revolutionary army, has enought money to pay its member well, because it seems many of them stays there with the money as one reason. ¿Which dissident group has ever had enough money to send their members on shopping trips on human history?
3. Even they being revolutionaries, they accept jobs from random people. ¿So are they revolutionaries or mercenaries?

Animation:
Is good enough so far, fluid. Sword fight moments which are always so boring to restrain from pushing the fast forward button here are good, not that many, not that long, but nice; I have seen better ones though (Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince, different genre but with some nice action scenes).

Sound:
Good, i actually didn't noticed the BGM or SFX, so i guess both went along with the mood and all... Still i didn't noticed so i guess it wasn't that spectacular either.

Character:
Poorly constructed characters. A bunch of kids pulled off from your average school harem translated to a medieval space, plus weapons.

Enjoyment:
If i would like to watch a violent anime with no argument at all, i would prefer watching some gore hentai; there is no need for 24 episodes just to see some blood and a guy surrounded by girls.

You idiots need to stop rating this on episode 1. Jesus Christ. What is wrong with people? As for myself, I'll review it properly when it's actually finished. But so far, it's just another Mirai Nikki. *sigh*

First episode. The gore was perfect. Loving it so far. Definitely worth looking out for this season!

Love this anime. Fallows the manga really well. But, it's the first episode so far. I hope this anime is amazing!
