Kimagure Orange☆Road: Ano Hi ni Kaeritai
きまぐれオレンジ★ロード あの日にかえりたいAfter the TV-series of Kimagure Orange Road, Kyosuke and Madoka have finally arrived at the point where they are close to graduation and have to decide where they want to go to college. Naturally, they want to go together, so beside all the studying they also have to look for a proper college where they can enter both. Hikaru, still a year from graduating, wants to support Kyosuke as well and does that in her own way. But while she does that, Madoka feels jealous and tells her feelings to Kyosuke. I can't even find the words to express how different is this movie from the TV show. I know this isn't really a proper review, but I'll tell you what you'll find in this movie.
To put it in a simple way: KOR is a quite simplistic romcom. We all know that no matter what happens, everyone will end happy and laughing together. BUT HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIE IS THE REAL THING. They throw away all the side characters and focus 100% on the love triangle. Say goodbye to Deus Ex Machinas and unrealistic reactions when you love someone, because what you'll see in this movie is as real as you or I are.
Get ready for a gigantic load of drama, too. I would've liked to see a romantic scene at the ending between the "winning couple" (not hard to imagine who wins lol), but anyway, when you watch the movie you'll understand this is not the point.
Regarding the enjoyment... Well, it depends on your fav. girl. You can enjoy the shit out of this as I did (call me sadistic if you want lol) or you can hate it with all your heart. Anyway, you must watch it.
