I hate to have to say this, but I’m really disappointed by this anime. I was really looking forward to it, since I really do love sports anime. But it’s so… boring so far. I always give the anime I watch the ol’ 3-episode judgement, and even by the third of Ballroom, I’m left frustrated and bored. I’ve yet to see a dance animated fully. I’m sick of seeing still frames. The animation isn’t great, either. The characters have no depth and I’m not really interested in where the story goes next. I’m quite sad because this is the type of anime I love. But there are no relationships between characters. I also hate when a random kid who has never even heard of a sport before literally comes stumbling in off the streets and turns out to be a “rare talent” - not just in this anime, but in a lot of sport anime. But yeah, I think I’ll be dropping this, to my utter disappointment. They could’ve done so much, yet the anime is just lacking and not gripping at all.
