It is quite entertaining, don't get why some people gave it harsh comments on it? I had laughters all the time. At least it is better and funnier than some other shows that is labeled "comedy" and "ecchi" where just a bunch of naked girls throw themselves on the boy with no fun at all and still got high ratings.
My ratings purely want to scale up the average ratings on this show.

The main goal of this show is to make you laugh. If it does not accomplish that, with it's crude humor, then there is no helping it.

Shows like these make me smile so hard, that I can't help but really enjoy my time with them. A personal bias I have with these shows is the extreme nature of the content. It does not care if you're it's main audience. It just wants to be obscene and in your face about it's attempt at comedy, and I love that aspect of it.

There isn't anything truly that stands out about this show. The main theme to look forward to is obscenity in it's purest form. A bunch of girls acting like complete degenerates remind me a lot of my friends that would act as wild as they could in high school. The simple pleasure of relaxing and watching something so weird, that it has you feeling like an immature child, can be the best thing if you're feeling like you need a little bit of a stress reliever.

So if you're the type to want to let your hair down an allow yourself to be entranced by the degeneracy that is plastic nee-san. I say give it a shot. If anything, it will definitely remind you of times when you have had a hyper active episode, and everyone looked at you as if you were some insane drugged up psycho on a rampage.

A great modernization of an under-appreciated genre. Plastic Nee-San is fast, furious, and endlessly deep. Plus I wanna bone the tank hat girl.

Plastic Nee-san is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING anime, for people with a sense of humour. Let me first point out that this anime is much like British comedy shows such as Little Britain and Little Miss Jocelyn, in that it is comprised of many short, random and hilarious scenes.

This anime revolves around three high school students: the black-haired girl Okappa who has a freaky but hilarious evil side, the lovestruck redhead Makimaki, and their blonde "Nee-san" who has a fiery and competitive personality, possibly because she's much shorter than the other two girls. Each of the characters love their plastic models, and this comes into the story at one point too. The characters are surprisingly well developed, sure there isn't really a back story but that's not what the writer was going for when making Plastic Nee-san. Each character has their own very unique personality which is established within the first few minutes of watching, such as Okappa often being seen trying to hold in a burst of laughter or Nee-san constantly sounding somewhat angry in a hilarious way.

The animation of the anime is great, there's never a time where I thought "I wish the quality was a little better" because it's always top level. As with MANY anime out there, Plastic Nee-san has those moments where it focuses for a few seconds on a single character with an artistic background and some sound effects for a bit of a funny touch, and they're great. The animations couldn't be sweeter. Featured a lot in this anime is also one or more of the main characters suddenly turning into chibi versions of themselves, even right next to the others who look like normal and this adds yet another funny but great element to the series.

This anime is absolutely hilarious because of how random it is. The scenes range from the girls wanting to take photos of their plastic models and Nee-san jumping on the table and putting her feet behind her head yoga style insisting they take photos of her "cuteness", to a blonde girl who thinks she is perfect insulting the girls about their looks while Okappa loses it laughing, as well as a student on the baseball team "take off" (explode off) his shirt with a ninja-like move. How funny exactly Plastic Nee-san really is can hardly be explained without revealing too much, however the entire series is twelve "episodes" that are 2 minutes each. All of the episodes can be found together on YouTube and lasts 27 minutes in total (the best one seems to be "Plastic Nee san (HD)" as the subbing for some are terrible or non-existent).

There is also a small amount of ecchi or somewhat perverted scenes which throw different kinds of reasons to laugh out loud at you, such as Nee-san rubbing Okappa's boob in a circle and telling her to use her body to "pay" for the price of fixing her broken model. The ecchi most certainly is not over done and it's not a huge element of this series, so when it does occasionally pop up it's just as hilarious as the rest of the show.

This is definitely a must-watch, please don't listen to the other review of Plastic Nee-san where the person harps on about it being "dull" and "too random"; for anyone with even a slight sense of humour this anime can't be missed. For such a short anime even if you think "hmm...I don't know", you might as well check it out anyway because you'll know within the first five minutes whether or not you'll like it, and it only gets better from there on.

All in all I gave this anime a 9.5 because I love the style of quick, random humour and this anime REALLY delivers. Not a single minute of it is boring and I've watched it five times already and I'll watch it again any day. MUST WATCH. An excellent example of comedy anime if there ever was one.

Three students (Nee-san/Iroe, Maki Maki/Makina, and Okappa/Okamoto) all have weird adventures in their school. And I really do mean weird because NOTHING IN THIS SHOW MAKES ANY DAMN LOGICAL SENSE WHATSOEVER!!!!

Uh... ahem, where do I begin with this? Well how about the fact that its got the weirdest most f***ed up OP I've ever seen in my entire life! And I thought Muromi-san has a weird opener but this one takes the cake! The ED is slightly tamer but.... its still bizarre :S

The animation is also weird, and choppy, and its dull. Artwork is generic at best, backgrounds and designs feel inspired (with the exception of that tank in Maki Maki's head which has an old guy operating in there... and its never addressed again) but hey, at least it doesn't look bad to look at... sigh. Voice acting isn't anything special, as is the 'humor' (almost none of the jokes here work and they'll most likely leave you feeling offended or stumped, and even if there is one, its just a snicker and nothing more to it than that).

The characters are all one-note/dimensional. Maki is the whiny voice of reason(and cries like a baby when things don't go her way), Okappa is the serious evil one (with the eyes, dark aura, and everything. Also, she looks like Tsuyuri from Doujin Work), and Nee-san (who for some reason's name is never said in the goddam show) is so obnoxious, loud, rambunctious, annoying, and has no respect for others that I just wanted to punch her in her stupid little head (thankfully Oka does that for me, but it still doesn't make up the weirdness this shows has). There's also side characters but since they only show in on episode and are there to amp up the weirdness and not develop in the slightest, they are not worth mentioning.

I like a little bit of randomness every once in a while but these guys just go overboard with it. There's episodes where the girls arm wrestle and a tank blows them up while a guy rubs on their unconcious legs, one where Oka tries to jab Nee-san with a pole while she's up in a basketball hoop, and episode where Nee-san dances with a bag between her legs and screams, and there's even one where they meet a guy with a bra and biceps and likes to dance weirdly. Oh and the last episode has them twerking shake their butts on the school rooftop! I didn't even mention half of the episodes with the weirdness, it is that messed up, and not in a good way...

Biggest problem is the pacing, every episode is two minutes and by the time something weird happens, it's already over. It just goes by too quickly and it just makes it unsettling to watch... you know what I'm saying?

Overall: Do not watch this, even if you have 30 minutes to waste or want to waste it on something, for this is not a good one to check out. Only if you like this type of stuff do I say watch it, but other than that, I say skip this one altogether.

Thanks for looking at my 27th review~
