The story continues from the 1st season. After beating down the previous man who hates him, Yato finds out himself to be trapped in God of War’s, named Bishamon, observation. He is being haunted by Bishamon’s existence, trying hard to hide his existence from Bishamon’s sight. Starting by her hatred to Yato (due to their past), Bishamon tries to haunt Yato. The reason why she haunts him and complicated mixture of feelings here make the story goes even fantastic with a lot of truth revealed and emotions entangling. It’s revealed about Bishamon’s perspective on Yato, Kazuma’s role as Bishamon Regalia, the identities of several minor characters (Kuguha the herb expert, Norry or Nora-chan the Nora), and relation between Yato and other characters. Comprehensively belongs to a single entity, amazing storyline.
The character designs are remarkable. The character designs confirmed doing a good job which makes a good portion for great anime visualization here. They’re remarkable enough without being too flashy nor dull. The background is so much appealing that makes the battle feels intense with emotions and superb graphic (no wonder it’s Studio Bones). It’s enhanced by great well-experienced voice actor/esses to deal with mixture of feelings. The details aren’t drop even if it is not a battle scene time. You can feel how fancy and dramatic it is when it’s involved thorough conversations.
What I have to underline here is the storyline and characters development. The 2nd season digs deeper for the characters expansion. More characters involved to reveal the truth of several things, and also more characters involved to save the world (since there is a devil antagonist harms not only God, but also mankind).
“Kyouran Hey Kids!! (狂乱Hey Kids!!)” by THE ORAL CIGARETTES is the OP for 2nd season. It has aggressive beats better than the first season. It’s the best OP in the season for me, far ahead from others. The ED theme song gives same vibe like the 1st season (no offense here). “Nirvana (ニルバナ)” by Tia as the ED theme song gives a strong impression with its lyric meaning and visualization. Both of these theme songs are remarkable and still in my playlist nowadays.

As far as I caught from the storyline, the series value inter-connectedness and trust with each other. We need to fight for what we believe in, respect friendship, survival, as well as pain of being forgotten and rejection from others. Great combination of supernatural, action, comedy, and slight of romance in shounen series. It got its best from the whole plot, about existence, friendship, approval, psychologically tough to overcome hardships, and comedy! Its comedy tied me up to this show. It wasn’t parody but hilarious comedy. I give 9+ rate with full consideration.
Pros:
Personally, I really like Bishamon. In this season, Bishamon feels like the real MVP with her speech and action there. One of the best part.
Since development of characters here concerns to large scale of characters, you won’t find it boring. You won’t find it confusing either, because every character gets right amount of portion to fill the roles.

Story: While a story of the gods may not be original this anime takes an interesting take on them by giving them a personality other than the "righteous" person. However the story seems to carry this sort of you know what will happen mentality but the journey is good enough to warrant a watch. Spoiler ahead: Also with the guy in the ending of the last episode being Yato's dad, WTF. This definitely better get a season 3 dammit.

Animation: While the animation is rather average this anime uses color to its advantage. Having contrasting eye colors and using colors like blues to represent Yato as the ruthless killer and lighter blue to be his charming normal person we know him as.

Sound: Again the dub by funimation was good but I felt that the role of Yukine and Yato felt off, especially Yukine. Yukine sounds way to mature so when they talk about his youth it seems so off putting. Also Yato seemed to serious in his voice even when he was meant to be comical in a certain scene. Mistakes were made.

Character: This season granted so much backstory to the characters that I wanted that I see no flaws except that I wanted Yukine and Yato's Nora's backstory. It was hinted several times but they did not touch it except a few subtle hints. 

Enjoyment: This show was so fun to watch and I had a blast laughing and being in suspense with this show. SO MUCH FUN!

Overall: If you enjoyed the first season of noragami I would definitely give this season a try.

More Noragami.. ? dam yeah this anime have been good in the Season 1 but they come back even better with a Season 2 because of the more interesting build-up contained in this Season and more solid story with a lot of good Drama so yeah let's talk about it !

About The Storythe story from the previous Season is following with this one but the story is pretty more serious in the Season 2 and really more interesting .. ! the goal of Yato is simple he want to have a shrine "his dream" but some hardcore events will happen and be even more serious , there some things i would like to say but i cannot spoil.. ! but we gonna learn more about what is a Noragami and the little girl who are with Yato the most of the time and they will show the past of Yato with Bishamon like why she hate him soo much and they are in soo much bad term , and new gods will be present like the Gods of Fortunes there some of them that you don't have seen already but yeah the Season 2 is really more interesting and serious , the end contain a lot of Thriller too i will let you discover it and say completely nothing about it.. pretty nice storyline we got in this Season and i'm pretty satisfy of it 

About The Animation and Sounds
the animation is clean and i pretty like how the phantom look like and for the Queen of the Underworld with her some kind of girls minions who look like girls , for the Opening and Ending nothing bad to say..  they are related to the anime i mean they show some things who gonna happen during the story and the Opening contain a really good beat.. i will leave you the link for it..

About The Characters
i would like to mention the relationship between the 3 Main who make some developments during the anime same goes for the others one but we can see that the relation with the 3 Main will be more solid than before in this Season ! but yeah i will not mention all of them but i will talk about the one who are important or the one i want to talk about it

Yato / God of Calamity by his name he can look bad but yeah he is pretty funny and can be idiot sometimes , his dream is to build his own Shrine but that's costing a lot to build something like that , there a very low amount of people who believe in this god so... that's can be dangerous if everyone forget him because he can disappear if everyone forget him but yeah.. back to the topic , he don't have soo much money too and rely a lot on Daikoku and Kofuku when he need food or something , he have this strange little girl who bother him a lot for a reason that you will discover during the anime.. previously he got a Shinki but he got abandoned by her because he is poor ... pretty asshole Shinki... but anyway now he got a new Shinki named Yukine note that was in the Season 1 , now he only have Yukine "a Shinki" who gonna be with him without forget he will be with Hiyori too..
Hiyori Iki / a Human girl who believe in Yato she have been the only to see Yato before , and sometimes she lost consciousness and we can say that's like her soul who come out of her body and she look like normal but have some power ability and a Monkey Tail who are her weak point too , if that's get touched by a phantom or cut by something she can die so yeah this is a pretty normal girl who go too school but have this little special ability to come out of her body , very kind and care about Yato and Yukine a lot 

Yukine / the Shinki of Yato who are the most loyal i think , pretty normal boy but he have been a wandering spirit before Yato find him , but the most of the time now he is with Yato because he is his weapon and when he transform himself into a weapon he look like a Katana ! he tried sometimes to live like the other kids or finding a friend because he is alone.. i mean Yato and Hiyori are here but he don't have any friend but yeah anyway he is a little bit annoying when he don't listen what Yato is saying to him

Bishamon / The Combat God , she posess a lot of Shinki because she is like too good with them and cannot abandoned any of them and she have like a big manor for them and that's where she live too , she really hate Yato and want to kill him because of a story in the past ! don't worry you will discover it ! she have a examplar who are Kazuma the most of the time she use him or bring him with her , well she is easy to pissed off and she is pretty strong , well she is a good person oh and when he transform he transform himself into a kind of earring in form of cherry blossom

Kazuma / examplar of Bishamon he is a Shinki but a special one for Bishamon so that's making him a exemplar , pretty mature and helpful guy , he care a lot about Bishamon i think he love her a lot , he will be very important in the story

Kuraha / he is a Shinki of Bishamon and she use him a lot because when he transform ... he transform himself into a Lion so she can ride him , this is a pretty cool guy but yeah he care a lot too about Bishamon and i pretty like his power of being a Lion
Ebisu / he is part of The Sevens Gods of Fortunes but God of Fishing and Commerce , he study into a thing that we don't really know about it and i cannot say it because that's can be a spoil , very silence and serious he look like to don't give a fk about everything ,but he will be a important element in the story !

Kofuku / she is The God of Poverty , Daikoku is her Shinki and she is friend with Yato so that's why Daikoku and Her is helping him sometimes but this is a energetic and very kind girl... and pretty cute too.. 

Daikoku / Shinki of Kofuku but very overprotective about Kofuku and he can look like someone that people don't want to piss off but can be very cool , he find Yato stupid but care a little bit about him , Daikoku love a lot Kofuku too and this is probably why he is overprotective like that ! when he transform he transform into a... wait i cannot say it ! you will discover it during the anime ! 

Nora / Yato former Shinki , but she look like to control Yato and menacing him when he don't follow a order.. this is pretty weird , she can look nice and have nice power but she is bad.. and she bother a lot Yato... she transform into a kinds of Sword.. but yeah she is pretty silence too and hide a lot of things that you will discover during the story !

Kugaha / he is a Bishamon Shinki and he know a lot about Herblore and sometimes make special bath for relaxing Bishamon or others some cure .. we can say this is a specialist in herbs but he is very silence..

About The Enjoyment
well i enjoyed this anime a lot and even more than the Season 1 there clearly more Action and serious build-up in this Season , the Drama Thriller is pretty good to watch and entertaining so i don't think you will be bored with all the events who happened here.. and learning more about the past of the Gods present in the anime

if you have watched Noragami already well you need to watch the Season 2 for sure , if you don't really know about Noragami let's say this is a pretty good anime i don't think this is a bad serie but give it a try just for see if you like that ! but don't forget that the Season 2 is really more interesting to follow !

The story truly developed through out the episodes and it was entertaining to watch.  It held plot and was easy to follow along while it still kept you intrigued. While some scenes seemed a bit based on luck rather than sense, it was overall a fantastic story line.
The creatures are just truly amazing in forms of animations and their movements.  Designs were kept simple but nice and allowed them to move fluidly too.  Some scenes were just certainly breathtakingly beautiful.
The op and ed were both wonderful and it was a must to listen to at the start and end of an episode.  Couldn't ask for betting voice acting or sound effects to be honest.
Characters truly had developed not just from the start of season 1, but from the start of this season too.   You really felt attached to characters and betrayed by others.  The concepts they played with were truly fantastic as far as characters go.
I enjoyed this season far more than the first.  Most likely to read the manga to just see what happens.  This season kept my on the edge of my seat and wanting more.
By far a step up from the last seasons in all aspects.  Held strong suits in each category and really can be allowed to stand for itself.

This anime will definitely go in my top favourites for character development and an exciting plot. This season was better than it's original storyline; with Yato being intensely unpredictable and agitative, forcing himself to change for the better! I loved this season until the end and am hopefully waiting for more.

As second season's go I've been quite surprised this year with the quality of the plots and new unfolding surprises and this anime executes what i was expecting. The beginning may seem slow but the ending is worth waiting for as the last episodes keep you intense and immersed in the Noragami world.

Being a faithful manga reader since years ago, I must say that the anime sticks closely to the plot :) There are some questions which haven't been resolved yet. Thus, it leaves room for a possible 3rd season. The soundtrack is very action-packed as well.

starts off as it seems to go on with another awesome opening. The animation is also incredible as it takes the first seasons animation that one step further giving the show crisp and clean action scenes. I have yet to finish the season as of writing this review but it seems as though we will get to see more of Yato's past which I've been wondering about since the first season. Overall I recommend it as it is a really good watch

The story focus mostly on the main characters, Bishamon ~ God of War and Yato ~ God of Calamity since last season was mostly and introduction to the characters.
This season just boost the level of excitement in this anime!
Bishamon ~ God of War and Yato ~ God of Calamity will revealed  were everything start to go sideways for each one of them...

Greetings merry reader, I'd like to welcome you to my Noragami Aragoto review, most of this review was written during the show's airtime however the later episodes didn't alter my opinion much, if at all.           

Storyswise this anime changes it's 'tone' somewhat from the previous season, being far more serious in nature. Don't worry though, the goofy Yato still gets some screentime.

Animationwise this series is a good watch overall, it's nothing incomparable, something extra special but it's good, it's solid. The battle sequences are fluid and are all in all a nice watch.

Soundwise the new opening doesn't scale down from the epicness of the previous season's one but the new ED is simply amazing and helps relieving after another though episode. On a side note, each ED differs a tiny bit from the previous one.

Characterwise well I'm sure most of you love Yato (why else bother reading a review for the second season).  One of the most interesting developments characterwise is Bishamon's backstory. Her grudge against Yato is a very valid one and we get to seen the regalia's personalities a lot more.    

Enjoymentwise Well as I said in the summary this anime had me hyped for every new episode. It will definitely keep you at the edge of your chair.

Overall: If you liked the first Noragami season, you will most likely like this season even better!
