I would classify this as a “Feel-Good” anime. You may cry once or twice from sadness, then by its end, you will feel extremely content. There is a question left to be answered though, id the Orochi’s cells get destroyed alongside it’s body? Does Tenka still have it in his system? We’ll never know, but I believe it is implied that Tenka is completely fine at the end of the final episode. This is exactly what one needs if they are looking for a pleasant experience and mood lifter.

Karakara-Kemui's manga first published by Mag Garden on March 2011 with a rather unique story. Mixed by those aspects I mentioned above, it turns out to be a heart warming and bittersweet plot and hits the entire of it. It's started 600 hundred years ago, Orochi~the name of huge snake~, rose and bring the destruction to the whole area where the heros live now. Its resurrection haunts the villagers and the government itself, the Orochi places himself to a human which later becomes one w/ Orochi when the resurrection time comes. 300 hundred years ago, Orochi's resurrection is a failure, and he was defeated by two guys and a woman.
Now, the present is haunted by its resurrection, and those who capable to defeat this devilish creature are youngsters and emotionally upset by the current situation~conflicts, losses, and distances. Will they overcome their nightmare and sleep peacefully, laughing under the clouds?

    I'm quite energetic as I make this post, the most entertaining anime on Fall 2014. Curious about the reason I could say so? Well, it's simply because the story takes place in a unique era, but never-ending laughs and bitter moments will catch your attention. Powerful meaning brings the series much more enjoyable and heart-throbbing at the same time. Not too catchy plot, but try to watch it and you'll know the different of it, even if there are also series takes place in somewhat Meiji Restoration. It's like you can find every taste in a dish, sour, spicy, bitter, sweet, and pungent. In short, the story will give you tons of laughs while can make you feel sad or bitter, yet it can boil your blood like a madman and finally sweeten the problematic plot.

    For the music, I can say it really fits the story, especially the rhythm. I found the singers voice astonish me. Well, let's spare some of your time to listen it by yourself. firstly the first opening theme Biran no Kaze by Ryuuji Aoki, secondly Ruten no Hi by Ryuuji Aoki, and ending theme Attitude to Life by Galneryus.

    I can't say much about the graphic. It is around average, but not bad actually I really enjoy the battle scenes, even the beautiful scenery of the villages here. It looks really like based on long-time-ago era. The color is not too bright, quite deep! and when it comes to characters, they are so many personalities there, range from the quiet yet mysterious, cheerful, sarcasm but so lovely, pessimistic also prayer, both temperamental and sweet, sweet and calm, and so many...uh~can't explain all of em. It gave me pleasure to observe how the characters express themselves.

Since, I never gave "10" as a rate~because it's simply impossible to assume series can get the perfect score~ so I will apply 9+.

it's an emotional anime about three brothers, which will leave a person crying, it has a beautiful story.

this anime is beautiful. I'm not talking about animation either, thee story is heart warming, heart breaking and touching. the tags can't even begin to encompass this anime. The focus of this anime is on the main 3 brothers and their relationship with each other, their struggles and their successes.

This anime has a lot of feels.  Laughing and crying.  I love anime that can make you feel something while watching it. However, I do feel that this anime had too many characters in it.  Sometimes less is more.

An amazing story that shows the importance of family love. Donten ni Warau will have at the edge of your seat the entire time. The show is under-rated but it will not fail to provide a story with excitement, romance, action, historical events, and even a little bit of mystery. The characters are very well developed, the sound track is nice,and the story starts strong and ends strong. What more could you want from an anime.

Give Donten ni Warau a try!

Great start but around episodes 9 or 10 it realizes it had only had two episodes left and rushed the ending.

Historical and interesting! First 5 episodes are just the beginning of something big. It's just that you can't stop watching . Characters are so hot and good and the story is uncertain .
