For starters lets  get one thing out of the way... address the loli in the room, so to speak. Kure-nai is kinda infamous for being centred around a romance between a 7 year old girl and a 17 year old boy, but mainly among people who haven't seen the show. Because the "romance" is rather one-sided and never strays from cute to creepy. So do not let that put you off from watching a fun and entertaining anime.

This OVA takes place after the arc from the main show has concluded and contains a series of slice-of-life episodes with the familiar characters. Nothing serious happens and the main story isn't advanced, except that we get an impression of  how the characters live on after the end of the series. The protagonist is still cute as a button and as mischievous as ever, which makes for plenty of good entertainment.

The visuals have been slightly updated - not that it was needed, since the original show looked fine. But hey - no complaints here. More is always better when it comes to animation budget.

If you liked the original show, this is a must-watch. And if you haven't watched Kure-nai yet, go grab it and watch that first... then come back and watch this. You won't regret it.
