Story: A spin-off of Lucky Star. Centers around big sister Hinata Miyakawa and little sister Hikage Miyakawa's impoverished daily life at home (due to Hinata's wasteful habits) and Hikage's life at elementary school.

Pros: The art and animation is adorable and nice to look at, as well as stay true to the Lucky Star feel of the show. The voice work is hilariously bad but its not god awful like the subbed version of Lucky Star (dubbed version is better) so that's all fine and dandy.

The main duo play off eachother very well. Hikage (who resembles Kagami Hiiragi) is serious about her money and food and does reprimand her older sister (who looks a lot like Miyuki Takara) whenever she buys stuff like manga and cake. She does get worried about her and care her as well as know how she cares for her to and wants the best for her. Her sister (can't remember name) is a nice gentle lady who always wants whats best for her and tries to talk/comfort her whenever she gets sad [and sometimes even gets brutally honest :P] and is also pretty klutzy and emotional at points.

The ED song is really catchy and fun to listen to as well as the dancing... though the lyrics are pretty weird though its no problem, at least for me anyways.

Cons: The side characters aren't as lovable as the main (there wasn't any I didn't like, just no one I especially loved either is where I'm getting at), the show is also really short and I wish there were more episodes of this, it takes six episodes for them to play the ED song [in full] which is a shame since you don't hear it as much (it is worth it since its good and catchy). The humor is no where as good as Lucky Stars and it seems to be a bit more predictable, but they do throw in some surprises so I guess its ok :)

Overall: Its a cute spinoff based off an anime thats already cute and I don't see why its so bashed, its a really good show. Its not as good as the original, but its still a fun and short experience that should not be overlooked. Check it out if you haven't already.
