A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd
大図書館の羊飼いShiomi Academy, an elite high school, boasts a student body of 50,000 and is home to the Shiomi Daitoshokan (Great Library). It also has a famous urban legend: a mysterious figure called "The Shepherd," who appears before hard working students to grant them a wish. Kyotarou Kakei is a second year of Shiomi Academy, and loves to read more than anything else. Other than when he's in class, his nose is pretty much always in a book in the Daitoshokan. His dream is to spread his love of reading through the Library Club. One morning Kyotarou gets a strange email from 'The Shepherd' which tells him that something is going to happen to him which will change his fate. This triggers a sense of foreboding within him that causes him to rush back to the train platform and save another student, Tsugumi Shirasaki, from getting killed by a derailment. After a string of misunderstandings though, Kyotarou finds himself with three new members joining his library club while also becoming involved with Tsugumi's "Happy Project." The questions remain though; what is Tsugumi's "Happy Project"? Who is this mysterious Shepherd who keeps sending them emails? The school year is about to get a whole lot more interesting for Kyotarou and his new friends.

It's sure not a bad anime, but with the slice of life genre I didn't really like it. I like the characters and there personality, but they could develop this more. It was the first anime I have ever seen and it was a kind of good way to start anime. They could make the story more exciting by speeding it up, because the real story started just on episode 4-6. I give it a 5/10. Not bad not good.

Story
Hmm...Well this is a harem anime the focus is on the relationship the main (Kakei) has with the female cast. At least this one tries to justify the main's relationship with the others by making him sort of a guide that interferes or tries to save them from harm. With his interference he eventually has the female cast falling for him. Story also puts them all into the same club with the purpose of making school life happy for everyone that will eventually culminate into a big event at the school.
Animation
Standard animation with the focus on the girl's best features, chibi faces, chibi reactions.
Sound
Standard happy go lucky music with some dramatic sounds, but still standard.
Character
Standard female characters. The characters don't really jump out to you. The character's looks are what is important. That is not to say that they are pretty much carbon copies of each other. They all have quirks and different character traits but even the the cast having different traits and quirks are standard.
Enjoyment
Depends on what type of anime fan you are. If you are looking for pretty things and just another harem anime then you will enjoy it. If you are looking for something with more depth then definitely do not watch.
Overall
Harem anime that attempts to bring drama but fails in doing so. Even the big ending is nonsense. I can say that the shepherd story line could have been used somewhere else and it would have worked.
