An extra episode of "Dusk Maden of Amnesia" that isn't part of the story arc of the main show, but takes place afterwards chronologically. As such it is not a necessary watch nor should you watch it before you have watched the previous 12 episodes, but I would still recommend it to fans of the show because it adhere to the same high standard as the rest (see reviews of the main show). And this show definitely has ghostly atmosphere coming out the wazoo! It is one of the best ghost Anime currently out there. Watch it late at night with the light out and you will know what I mean.

This episode's subtitle "Maiden of Exorcism" refers to one of the main characters who decides to take on the role of exorcist as the members of the Paranormal Investigation Club of the high school takes a trip around the seemingly endless number of eerie school buildings in order to check out a list of ghostly legends. There is no real plot to speak of and the story is more light-hearted and slice-of-life'ish compared to the dramatic ending of the main story. We also get a bit more "fan service", but not to the point where it gets annoying. I could do with less of that though, but this is a common problem with the show as a whole. If you are easily offended by cartoon nudity there are several episodes - this one included - that you might take offence to. Personally I just ignore it.

Recommended as a final goodbye (for now) to the cast of a well-crafted Anime.
