This 11:30 minute animation, without taking into account the following series, with all its ups and downs, it gets a 7.25/10 from me.

It's pretty average, not awesome and not too bad.

Decent character development, decent artstyle and animation, enjoyable dialogue, subtle music and personable voice actors. Although, they left a lot out from the lore of the original game. For example, they didn't even touch on the familial issues that all of the kids seemed to have in the game. If you're going to make a prologue, make sure you leave no stone unturned.

Another issue of mine would be the intro's animation. It is choppily edited and kind of killed the hype that I, as a person who played the games, got from seeing Heavenly Host Elementary again. Thankfully the animation props up as we go along.

Brush up on the characters' personal stories and introduce them properly and it would get an 8 from me.
