This show is the fluffiest of the fluff. Everyone always gets along, there is no interpersonal conflict whatsoever, and everyone is happy and excited and successful and special.
There's no real compelling plot, and the resolution of all plot points are as obvious as can be. The songs get kind of repetitive, but new ones appear somewhat regularly. The main part of the show is hand-drawn but the concert scenes are CG, and this is a bit glaring at first, until you get used to it.
I tend to enjoy fluff shows like this, as an escape from the manufactured stress that other series tend to pile on. If you don't like plotless happy times, this anime will probably not be your cup of tea.
