Story: Koi-Ken Love Research club member Kaede Wakamiya comments that being an idol must be extremely easy—a comment that irritates idol Nagisa Toyama. At the suggestion of her manager, all female members of the KoiKen club are invited to become an idol unit with Nagisa. Kaede then realizes that maybe being an idol isn't so easy after all...

If you want a show about love research then go watch Love Lab instead. This show focuses more on the idol aspects and how to become one in less than a day...

Pros: I like how they're talking about how to become and idol and it's not as easy as one would think (take that Kaede!), which is something I have not seen before.

The characters look really cute (even though they're basically sterotypes you've seen in other anime before) and the voices are pretty good too, as is the music in this show. Oh man, the performance at the end was so awesome that I tried to sing along to them (though some may say that it goes on for way too long but it didn't bother me as much). Everyone has a chance to shine in this show though it ain't much considering the running time) and all of the interactions are believable here.

Nagisa is a great character, she's cool, calm, and serious when she wants to be but also deeply cares for her friends and well beings and just wants to prove that being an idol isn't all that hard (she soon learns a lesson about idols too... from a certain someone). There's even some development as the show progresses and I love when shows like this do that :D

Cons: The first few minutes were pretty boring, that and it doesn't take that long for the girls to accept being idols (for stupid reasons might I add. I mean really, a bear? Come on!) Animation is standard and some characters in the OP never show up in the actual show. Why is that?

Kaede was also pretty terrible, always going head first into situations even when she's not involved, shouting at others, and even bragging and complaining. She was annoying to say the least, but at least she mellows out in the second half. Speaking of, aside from her and Nagisa, no one in this show gets any development, even basic development. I guess its cause of a strict run time or something but still.

Also the show may have been finished but the story is far from it. What happens next? Where will they go from here? Will they get there dreams come true? Will they bond some more? Make new friends? See new places? Question reality and life itself? We never know since there is no sequel... sigh.

Overall: I think it's a pretty good show. Didn't waste too much of my time watching it and I'm glad I saw it at least once. If you want to see a short idol anime then I see no harm in checking this out. Look it up on Youtube and draw your conclusion if you want...
