This show has epic moments, slower moments and investigation so it requires patience..
But OH MAN, it’s worth it, this anime is heroic and made me cry.

A really great anime focusing on (well thought out) conspiracy theories, the scientific possibilities of concepts such as augmented reality, and the question: "just how hard is it to build a giant robot?" Very hard. Very hard indeed.

a story about a girl who want to build a giant robot look like interesting... and connected to Stein;Gate and Chaos;Head why this is connected ? because this on the same Life Line of Stein;Gate and a large others you need to watch the 3 anime for understand you gonna see a large of things look like same and connected but if you want to know by which one to begin i give you the order
|
1-Chaos;Head 2-Stein;Gate 3-Robotics;Notes this is only for understand some things in the anime so this is not necessary to watch in this order but i recommand this order... so..... lets begin
About The Storythe story begin in the robotics club at school and the main goal of Akiho is to build a giant robot ... but for say this more understandable she want to full fill the dream of his sister but anyway the story begin here with realistic after a couple of episodes you begin to like the story but the story became too much unrealistic and too much weird but this is not soo bad this is just completely different from the beginning so this is a nice story but something is missing and this is make the story not good at 100% but this not bad this is alright because everything is logic but hey this is good okay ? but i spoil nothing but the end finish too much fast....
About The Animation and Soundsthe animation is normal like everytime nothing to say about this and for the sounds they are normal too but for the opening this is nice for the first opening this is not soo bad but...... the opening 2 i dont very like it... :/
About The Charactersthe characters are nice and have all a good story in their past .. for me i like Airi and Kona
Kaito Yashiho / this guy look like normal.... he is normal he just have a strange illness this thing transform the time to slow motion and no this is not a super power this is really a disease but anyway this is a normal character
Akiho Senomiya / i think the most Male people gonna fall in love with this girl but for me no... she have a lot of energy to spend and smile everytime this is one of funny character in the anime but she have illness too... what is it ? she lost his strenght and she go fast in time this thing make her out of control and she fall down :/
Kona Furugoori / i freaking like this girl she is soo crazy that why i like her she say everytime nowhere or random things but i prefer when she is in night suit this is more pretty like that and i like how she think because of his crazy mind :D !
Airi / dam she is too f**k**g cute anyway who dont like Loli ?
Subaru Hidaka / he is boring -_-...... but funny sometimes LOOL
Tetsuharu Fujita / this is a bad ass grand-father his dream is making robot and he his a very important person in the anime without i think they are all f**k*d but anyway this guy is just nice for a old man
Junna Daitoku / sometimes you asking if she is necessary in the story or not but yes she is
Nae Tennouji / this girl look like a normal mature girl but she hidden a talent LOOL if you want to know what is it just watch the serie
About The Enjoymentthis fun to follow because you have a large of explanation at each episode so you not gonna be bored but i dont jump on my chair... the drama in it is very good and this is fun to think about what gonna happen next o: !
so yeah this is a good anime but i really recommand to follow the order i have giving you 1-Chaos;Head 2-Stein;Gate 3-Robotics;Notes but i think Stein;Gate is better... but wait wait... ! Robotics;Notes is cool too ! if you have already watched the others series i think you gonna want to watch this one but i want to say something about Robotics;Notes... this serie can be very bored for some person if normally you don't like Sci-fi things... i recommand for you to watch it when you gonna have nothing to do !

Being the child of Steins; Gate and Chaos; Head is quite the pedigree to live up to. What I was expecting from Robotics; Notes was something immediately dark and/or "political" in nature, but Robotics; Notes ended up being very different from my expectations.
When the show started I immediately felt the "slice of life vibe" hit me dead in the chest, not that that's in any way a bad thing, after all I do watch a lot of slice of life, it just was so completely contrary to my expectations that it hit me off guard. A couple episodes in and I was already dubbing Robotics; Notes "the anime version of battle-bots", and a fairly expected slice of life atmosphere was kept up until about a third through the show.
From there things almost instantly spiral out of proportion and the entire feeling of the show changes. If you came expecting a darker show like its predecessors you will not be disappointed, you will just have to hold on a ways before it happens. This huge and dramatic change may or not be something people enjoy depending on who you ask, some people apparently find it somewhat confusing for such an extreme turn around but personally I enjoyed it.
The frequent huge shifts and surprises will keep you engaged throughout the later parts of the series. Robotics; Notes has something for everyone, humour, slice of life, action, sci-fi, and a bit of romance (not much). Between waifu becoming alive, references to its predecessors, and bad-ass ninja lovebirds, and I can guarantee it will not fail to make you smile.

After the complete disaster that was Guilty Crown last year, Production IG had to make up for something. They did so with Psycho Pass, that really was one hell of a ride. As for their other 2-cour Noitamina-series this half year, Robotics;Notes… it’s a bit more difficult. And don’t get me wrong: this is in no way as bad as Guilty Crown. It’s much better, but also very difficult to judge. This series is really ambitious… it just doesn’t work.
I actually liked Robotics;Notes in its first half. It had this ambition, yet at the same time it spent a lot of time fleshing out its characters and focusing on believability. It might sound weird to see this from a series that has a large robot on its promotional material, but that’s the point: one of the subplots in this series offers a bit of a deconstruction of Giant Robot building as it takes a look some of the issues of teenagers piloting these things that most other series tend to ignore.
Then there is a subplot about solar storms, a subplot about miniature robot fighting, a subplot about an evil conspiracy, and that list goes on and on. This is what I mean by the ambition: in the first half this show balances all of these subplots together that at first sight don’t seem to have anything to do with each other. This build-up for me was the best part of this series, and it’s always a question of what this show will focus on next… in its first half.
And then its second half comes, and it’s supposed to weave all of these subplots together… and it kinda fails. A lot. In many ways. There are some things that you’d think are related to each other, which actually totally aren’t, and the ones that are related to each other are brought together in such a shoehorned way that it breaks all suspense of disbelief that it has previously built up.
The show basically tries to run through a checklist of all stories that it needs to wrap up, without any care of making them flow into each other. Because of this entire subplots are conveniently forgotten until they are relevant again without much reason. But granted, the stories that it try to tell have some good concepts and ideas behind them. the character-development also works well enough and it has still enough to make it worth watching. And then the finale comes. I have no idea what happened, but things totally go wrong. All of the build-up just gets thrown out of the window and the show turns into a cheesy mess of plot devices. Talk about a let-down.
So yeah, solid show. Bad ending. That makes it really hard for me to recommend this series, because this series doesn’t just have a bad ending, it’s got a bad ending that invalidates much of the earlier build-up. Watch this if you want a different take on Super Robots. But then again, there are enough shows that also do that.

What started off being a very light-hearted anime quickly turned in an anime that sent chills down my back. I kind of just wanted to write that one sentence as my review because it is what changed my view on this anime and what made me write this reviewThe title of this show “Robotics;Notes was quite simple to understand. The first part “Robotics” refers to the club that Akiho Senomiya and Kaito Yashio are trying to keep alive the Robotics Club. The second part of the title “Notes” refers to the Kimishima Report and the notes that Kou Kimishima left behind, and being able to figure out what they mean. The first two people you meet are Akiho Senomiya and Kaito Yashio. Akiho has a dream, and this dream is to complete the robot Gan-tsuke that her sister Misaki started years ago at the same school. Akiho is a character that is full of life and energy, but at the same time isn’t the smartest of the bunch. Kaito, her childhood friend really has no interest in the club and was just dragged along by Akiho, but what he does like is robot fighting games. Not only does he love them, he is completely absorbed/addicted to them and the only way to ask him to do favors is to beat him at the game Kill-Ballad, whom is created by Kona Furugoori. Just to put in very simple words who Kona is… she is a NEET that is really all you need to know about her for now. This anime, aside from being about Robots and solving mysteries, also is about friendship and bonding. Now I know tons and tons of animes are about friendship and bonding, but what is particularly special about this anime is how far they are willing to go for each other and to be able to protect this friendship that they have made.To be honest though, once starting this anime I was not expecting much more than a show that would bring enjoyment, and be able to laugh and maybe watch some cool fights, but this idealistic idea of mine was quickly turned astray. Even though what is happening is very unexpected, this is what makes me super stoked about watching this anime every Thursday (or Friday). On an Enjoyment based level this anime is actually amazing, there is nothing really more you can ask for, when you start watching a show having low expectations and this show completely turning around and being one of my favorite shows from last season. To put a comparison in your head this show is like watching those animes that have robot fights, and when the robots die or loose an arm blood spurts out. If you don’t understand what I am trying to say it is how unexpected this anime really is.I guess the last thing I can talk about is the op/ed songs. I am just going to say by far the best song used in this anime is the OP (Zwei – Junjo Spectra). It really just has a nice tempo and beat to it that almost seems very fitting and suitable for this anime. It almost seems as if something amazing is going to happen right after I hear that song, which on the most part is true. This review is a wee bit shorter than I expected, but honestly I am not 100% sure what more to add or write about. This show is very underrated and there really wasn’t much “hype” for when it started and came out, but I recommend you give this anime a shot, I can almost promise you won’t be disappointed with the outcome. If you have any questions or comments please just send me a pm or write on my wall, I will try my best to answer to the best of my power! The story line is nice if you want a break from overly dramatic shows, with constant the conflict. It provides a view of normalcy and allows the viewer to feel more able to connect with the characters. While there are some annoying twists, that aren't necessarily needed, it allows each of the characters to grow in different ways as well as to show more sides to their personalities. The show overall isn't really that bad, especially if you have an open mind.
