Persona 4 The Animation: No One is alone is meant to be the true ending for the series where episode 25 simply ended with the Investigation team defeating and bringing the killer to justice this 26 episode OVA shows the true ending in where Yui Narukami takes on Izanami-no-okami.

Story 7/10

The events of this episode in particular are very hard to follow if you have not finished the truth in the actual game even with the help of the game the episode seems pretty thrown together just in the way that it is down though I understand the option to do it as they did. If the episode had been more like a movie it could have been pulled off perfectly but instead they tried to cram it into a 30 minute time slot and severely reduced the quality of something that could have been truly epic. Other than that the two fight scenes and what the episode is attempting to accomplish are very nice in terms of the simplicity and just watching how much the MC has grown over the course of the show.

Animation 7/10

Nothing new to say about the animation since it shares the same animation with the series.

Sound 10/10

Again the music is beautiful especially in this episode when the MC has his fight with Margret, the one who governs power. The entire fight is so beautifully down it has actually caused me to become chocked up while watching it.

Character 8/10

There isn't much in character development in this episode with it being the last, but what you do see is something that is my favorite thing about this series, the social links coming into play. You get to see at the end all the friends the MC has gathered along the way giving him inspiration and him using the power from his bonds to strengthen himself and discover the truth, and to finally accept his own short comings.

Enjoyment 8/10

Not much can be said about it other than the fight scene with Margret brought tears of joy to my eyes simply because of how brilliantly it was pulled off and how much of a summary of what the entire message that the Persona series tries to install onto it's viewers, that the true bonds of friendship will whether even the greatest of challenges.

Overall 8/10

While it wasn't the super kickass ending that it could have been it was still very enjoyable by it's own rights and emotion evoking in certain parts, if you have played the game or finished the series defiantly check out this ova
