I have watched the blu-ray version where the quality is much better than the TV release.
I really like this anime but I can't put my finger on.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Where do i even start with this anime!
I have never ever written an anime review so this will be a shot in the dark.

First of all. Its an ecchi, so we all know what that means, Bewbs and a male character put into crazy situations.

Well this show is basicly that.. but with a twist, the girls aren't exactly every mans fetish material.. atleast not before you watch this anime.

The story is basic Ecchi

You take a man and put him in Crazy situations with a bunch of girls. This anime is basicly built on Comedic crazy situations like you will see in the first 5 minutes of the anime.

Animation is pretty good. I dont really pay attenttion to it so i cant say more D:

The voice acting is over all pretty good if you ask me.

I feel like the Voices fit every single character and none of it really bothered me.

Characters are freaking great. Every single one of them has an unique personality but they still most of them have the same goal. To ERHMERMHM get into main characters pants. The designs are great, you have plenty of races to choose your best girl from.

i really, really, REALLY, ENJOYED THIS ANIME ALOT. like i literally could say this is my all time favorite anime, eve n though i was asking my self in tears of laughter "WHY AM I STILL WATCHING THIS SHOW?!?!"

Its so Ridiculous and over the top. i really dont know the exact reason why i liked this anime so much, but i just did, Monster Musume No Iru Nichijou has ever grewn a decently sized fanbase like the subreddit ( /r/MonsterMusume ) and theres pretty good amount of Fan Art being created all the time. And it has even become a General thread on 4chan.

Overall i cant bring myself to give it a 10 since there are alot of people that might not see it in the way i do. And might not enjoy it in the way i did. So ill just give it a 9.

I'll do this a bit differently. Monster Musume has ended and I've decided, against my better judgment, to watch it. Instead of waiting until the end to review it, I'm just gonna update this with my thoughts after each episode. I'll say this, though. My expectations are very low, but after the first episode, I see a little bit of hope.

Episode 1!But can you fuck it? Not gonna lie, I myself am an assman, the only true man, and a snake tail isn't an ass. How am I supposed forcibly  sodomize Miia when she's a snake? Are you really gonna make me google where a sake's butthole is so I can properly wank to this show? Answer: Yes. Snakes have what's called a cloaca near the base of their tail on the underbelly where they take care of all their business. It's functionally an ass and a vagina at the same time! I guess the future is bright after all. Anyway, about the show, it's kind of sweet. In episode 1, I'm not so much put off by Miia as I am by Tsukune Aono or whatever he calls himself as he seems not to have eyes. Instead, pure white ovals with black rims around them take their place 90% of the time. I know ecchi shows aren't known for their budgets, but give the man eyes, damn it! Sure, it's a popular animation technique to briefly change your character's appearance into something more cartoon-y to more easily(lazily) convey emotion, but he's spent the majority of the show like this and it's kind of jarring. So that hope I was talking about, right? It was how Miia was being laughed at when they were out in public. I liked seeing a hint of conflict and struggle in a show that had snake girl literally cumming in the first two minutes.  Then it was also kind of nice seeing Minato Sahashi falcon punch what's his fuck at the love hotel. I dunno, I guess I'll watch the second episode.

Episode 2!Alright then! We have now got our introduction to the Papi the Harpy and horse girl whose name slips my mind. Cera? Sure. Lets go with that. Papi's not small because they need a loli, she's small so she can fly! Honestly, better justification than I usually get. And the horses' tits are stupid. I mean, that's not even arousing. Forget that she's a horse, and those tits just kinda suck. Introductions stole the show and there wasn't much memorable. The ice cream BJ was nice, if you're a pedo..it was nice. Then the latter half all I could think was that one episode of Dirty Jobs where Mike shoved his arm into a horse cunt. His entire arm, down past his elbow. Would you really put your dick in a cavern like that and expect any kind of enjoyment? I guess that's why she has the fat titties to please the oppai faggots. Whatever. Miia is still best girl until proven otherwise. Next episode.

Episode 3!Papi's a rapist which makes her skyrocket in my books, which might have let her take the title from Miia, but when Miia came into his room at night and let her tongue out, Oh My God, why am I wasting my time with humans? I NEED a snake girl. Hurry the fuck up evolution! I wanna fuck a snake! Anyway, this show is stupid, but it's that kind of stupid that's just on the cusp of self-awareness, which is the best kind of stupid. Kind of like The Room where the actors had to know they were starring in the shitiest movie ever made, yet Tommy Wiseau thought he was producing a serious movie. This does transport me back to my early days of anime, and it actually feels pretty good. I'm enjoying this show.

Episode 4!I still don't wanna fuck a horse, but slime girls are hawt. Reminds me of that time I put my dick in a jar of grape jelly. Rararagi-san still has no eyes and it freaks me the fuck out.

Episode 5!Suu. Suu. Suu! I want to live inside of Suu. A bit of Yuri is exactly what this show needed, and Mera's insane desire never hurt. I'm ashamed of how much I'm enjoying this.

Episode 6!Miia. You are still number one. We're getting a better look into this mishmash world world of theirs than I'd expect from an Ecchi show. It's still just glimpses, but I'm starting to think this belongs at the top of the heap of harem garbage. Maybe by the end I'll see it as a legit show.

Pre-episode 7The first thing I notice is they are using the much edgier ending song as the opening for this episode. Could it be they're about to pull a Madoka on me?

Episode 7!Nope. Not quite, but still interesting. Still, even with the 17 thousand characters being introduced, they all get okay treatment. The pacing is actually alright and nothing's really ruining my immersion. Aside from those fucking eyes.

Episode 8!
I have to say, I quite like this. I used to watch a lot of ecchi shows and I built up a pretty big tolerance. I'm not gonna go straight to saying this is wonderful and everyone should watch it, but if you like ecchi, this is top notch. I also like the little bit of effort it's putting in to explain things. Like, "He's not just a nutless pussy, it's actually illegal for him to fuck these beautiful girls." I started watching this as a joke because I like trash shows, but this isn't nearly as trash as I expected it to be.

Episode 9!Alright then! Suu continues to prove she is without a doubt the greatest being in existence. Thank you, Suu. You're doing God's work.

Episode 10!What the fuck is this shit? This may be the best episode yet. We had a Godzilla reference, a nipple sucking orgy with a giant tree beast, and a little demon got chased by a boar then forced into S&M play.

Episode 11!
Oops, I dropped my breast. Oops, I dropped my head. Is this show trying to get serious for the last two episodes, or is it pretending to be serious?

Episode 12!
Nope! Not serious at all. It's pretty stupid still and Suu continues to prove herself as a minor deity of some sort.

Well, I'm finished. This show stayed gloriously stupid to the end. The ecchi scenes were top notch, but the comedy was mostly a bust. For the kind of anime it is, it's wonderful. It would be nice if it took a risk, though. If this gets a second season, Tsukune better be getting his dick wet, or at least kiss someone. I don't care how pissed 4/5 of the fan base will get no matter who he gets with, this needs to do something to make itself stand out. You can only coast on the fact that they're monsters for so long before you have to actually make something happen. Eh, whatever 10/10 anime of the year.

-skit about the morality encompassed within anime reviews and their consumers which aims to question not only the ironic social implications that making a video to review an anime can have on the uninspired mind, but also a critique on the creators lack of courage to be completely honest when presenting an opinion piece due to negative reactions that it may cause. i also show a snake girl trying to fuck a dude.-

Monster Musume is an interesting beast, no pun intended. Going off of Hummingbird, a website you should also follow me on by the way(wink wink), it would fall under the genres of comedy, ecchi, fantasy, harem, and romance; and it’s this variation which is MonMusu’s strong point, but also its greatest weakness.

When the show decides to push more towards the harem and romance elements, it quickly becomes forgettable. It could be due to the shows clear preference of some characters over others, or the borderline-bystander of a main character being much better suited for the comedy-esque elements of the show. Even as an ecchi, a lot of the intimate moments fall flat, as darling-kun here is borderline raped. It’s a tease to say the least, with nothing worthwhile beforehand.

On the other hand though, when the show pushes more towards the fantasy and comedic areas, it’s easily at its best. It actually takes the idea of these cross-species existing in the real world and people’s reactions to them, while simultaneously flipping it on its head with charming dabs of comedy and personality.

It creates this polarizing effect where some episodes are very entertaining, whereas the rest can feel much more forgettable; with episode 12 in particular showing off its strengths better than any others. I can recommend it, but with the warning that some episodes may feel like wastes of time in the scope of the entire show.

well lets say it now we got Ecchi with female humans , now we got Ecchi with Monsters Girl the anime have get a lot of popularity because of the concept that they are Monsters Girl if i remember correctly people have very like the Manga and i think the anime is more popular too but hey lets begin

About The Story
we can say this is simple Humans and Creatures mixed into 1 community but they will need to be adapted to each others.. we can say thats not everyone who are alright with that in the anime but everything is alright don't worry... the only single that i don't like is the little rush we got at the beginning.. and during all the anime i mean.. this is a pretty nice anime but the information is very little and the characters appear too much rapidly and totally random so we got a guy who are needed and obligated to live with every Monsters Girls who come to his house this is why i say this is very simple but staying good DO NOT THINK I DON'T LIKE IT.. i have liked this anime but some information are missing , but thats not gonna break the Romance Story we have..

About The Animation and Sounds
the animation is pretty clear and have great graphics but i highly recommand to watch the Blu-Ray Version for the Uncensored , for the Opening and Ending they are both awesome but the Ending look like to show completely a another anime thats why he is soo nice .. i will leave you the link for it

we have a lot of nice girl in this anime i think thats the real goal.. they have try to do and thats working.. this is sad that our main characters don't have soo much famous :/ but hey im gonna talk about them but lets continue now because we have a lot of characters "Note if you want to know more about the Species you have more information about it in the Manga !"

Kimihito Kurusu / thats the main characters who live in his house really relax but gonna need to live with Monsters Girls everyday.. ! we can say this is a good guy and a Human not a others Species but he can be protective when the people with him are insulted or something.. so yea he is pretty normal but stay a cool guy and funny sometimes

Miia / this is a Snake Girl we can say she have a humans top but down here this is a snake body she is lovable because of his jealousy for his Darling thats make her cute and take a little bit the fame because of it she is the first to have lived with the main characters so she is very attached to him .. we can say she love him

Papi / a Harpy so human body mixed to a bird.. anyway i think you know what is a Harpy xD so she don't have soo much intelligence but are a little gentle and have a child attitude a little bit but that his charm she is a little cute too 

Centorea Shianus / i think you have already know it just by the name.. she is a Centaur so.. i think you know it but i will say it... top human and down horse body , because of his loyalty and fidelity thats make her a charm.. and i cannot hide it but she have pretty big Oppai too.. she wear a sword everytime too she really take his position serious and i think she is the more serious in the band too.. 

Suu / this is a Slime Girl dam you already think soo lewd.. when i say Slime but hey don't worry you will not regret it because you gonna have your dose with this girl .. and hey she is a Loli and are pretty cute and kind you will probably like her , stop imagine soo much thing because this is a slime !

 Meroune Lorelei / a Mermaid i think i don't need to describe it.. LOOL so yeah she have a little special personality because she want to have a Dramatic Romance Story we can say thats aroused her.. but well you're not gonna hate her

Rachnera Arachnera / Spider Girl when i say spider you say dam this is disgusting.. but with Japan you will change your mind about it.. this girl have a top human mixed with spider and his body his completely spider i think you know what i mean.. she is sadist too and if you like dark thing you will like her for sure she is awesome o:
Lala / the Beheaded Dark Knight , so she have a armor but his head can be retired , she have a little chunnibyou and take his role too much serious so she think she are the death incarnate , but have a really shy side you will like her for sure.. his look is bad ass xD

Sumisu / a Human girl who are in charge for protect the city with his band just down here , because humans cannot hurt species and same goes for the species but if a species is committing something who break the rule she will be in charge and gonna stop them , she help the main characters too in funds because he have the Monsters Girls with him , so she never decline if a Species want to live with the main character.. i say this for be short but you will more understand in the anime , she is pretty awesome and funny .. and bad ass too :3 "The Organization they work in is called MON"

Tionishia / she is a Ogre so she is very tall and... yeah big body too.. sorry for that but... big Oppai and Ass too , she is more cute than you imagine and more kind than you think but she is to tall and strong for be gentle i have very like this girl for some reason.. and you will like her for sure , she work Sumisu and the others for protect the city from the species who breaking rule
Zombina / she is a Zombie yeah but awesome too because of his energetic attitude and she is the genre to be funny and the don't fk with me a pretty cool character , but his body is not regenerate when she get hit so she can have a lot of scar because of this , and work with Sumisu and the others

Manako / a Monoeye girl so she have 1 eyes but a big one but have a really great vision for seeing far , she is very shy but cute too she can be pretty agile with a sniper.. that why you see her with a sniper.. she work with Sumisu too and the others

Doppel / a Shapeshifter so she can shift into others people , so she can be everyone she want but.. his normal body is pretty special she look like very young , she work with Sumisu and the others , and have a pretty nice look but anyway !

i hope you are not bored after describe it all of them.. if you really want to have more information in very big detailed like about the species and their abilities you will need to read what they say in the Manga !

About The Enjoyment
if you like Ecchi i don't think you will be bored but me i have liked that... and some funny thing are present and the plot is pretty good too and better in the Uncensored so watch it in this version , so yeah this is pretty enjoyable if Ecchi is your real thing :3

i can recommand that to the Ecchi Fan only because that more this than anything without forget the Comedy but you have a lot of Boing Boing and girls do you catch what i try to say ? i think this is yes but anyway this is pretty good so yeah go watch it if you want a Ecchi and don't forget... WATCH THE UNCENSORED VERSION NOT THE CENSORED !!! your fun can be ruined if you don't listen me on this.. ! Story

Dude gets a bunch of hot monster babes living in his house, and they all wanna jump his bones; not sure how that'd work, because one of them is a goddamn spider. Then weird, sexy, perverted shit happens.

Animation

You bet your ass I'm buying the damn blu-ray. For real, it was actually pretty good, given the nature of the show.

Sound

Oh there were plenty of sounds.

Character

All of them were unique enough to at least be distinguishable from each other, weird monster girl hybrid notwithstanding. Smith-san for shitbag of the year (Centorea best girl, tho).

Enjoyment

I wouldn't watch this with my grandma.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (or Mon-musu for short) is a harem anime which involves several girls living with our main character (whose name constantly evaporates from our head since he's always called by nicknames). The twist is that those girls are actually Monster Girls, ranging from Lamias, Harpies, etc. And so, our main character attempts to survive in an environnement where he has never been before.

Now, first off, this anime might not be for everyone. If you dislike harems, you'll probably dislike this anime if you do not come into terms with how original it actually is. Monster Musume is in fact a harem, but it gives something that we haven't seen much in the anime, or in fact just the Otaku World in general. Also, you'll obviously find that the level of ecchiness scales rather high, and some people just don't like such things.

Personally, I think Monster Musume is a great series since it offers something new into the table and this makes the comedy scenes unique. The characters themselves are what this anime series really shine. The Monster Girls themselves are funny on their own, with their own quirks and personality traits that are rather new, but also to be expected sometimes. You'll usually find a favorite within the characters.

For those who have read the manga, is this a good anime adaptation? Well, in my opinion, the cast were well chosen and the animation fits the series, even though it might surprise the stingy manga readers. I see no immense difference yet in the story, so at least the anime does follow the manga.

Overall, I think this anime is a must-watch for any harem/romantic-comedy viewers who don't mind or love ecchi. It's an anime that gives harem a new flavor to it and shouldn't be missed by the previously mentioned viewers. However, it will throw off those who dislike those genres.
