I have no idea how this anime could possibly be any good, given its episode count. And the random air dates don't make this any better. ...Also, mechas and idols don't mesh well in my head.
Story is some kind of idol tournament, an our contestants as they battle with songs. Sounds like Symphogear, without the magic, right? Yeah. And they summon these weapons. So far, each episode focuses on a different girl. Honestly, given the story, I'm not impressed.
The animation is pretty crisp, though, I can't complain about it.
Sound's okay. The songs are cool, I guess, but nothing going.
Characters are kind of generic, but I feel like they'll have more story to them with the other three episodes left, so I can't give it a total failure yet... I like the half Japanese because she's got a sad story?
Overall, so far, I don't like it since Symphogear handled battle idols better...
