If everyone you know is ultra pretty, and you're only mega-pretty, then you can expect an ordinary life amongst a sea of bishounen and bishoujo. Add a dash of fairy-tale aspirations most girls leave behind in pre-school, and you have the main character, Shiratori Kuu, a teenaged girl who is only one prince away from being the most perfect thing ever.
However, the plot comes in to change all that, and the fairy-tale continues on its merry way. The high-fantasy battles would be promising if it weren't for the limited budget. Often, action is reduced to still or sliding frames and a good amount of sparkles to distract you from the low cel count. The biggest draw to this series is the art and character design. The characters are astoundingly gorgeous - I immediately searched the internet far and wide to find more work done by Kaishaku - the manga-ka responsible for the artwork.
If nothing else, you can enjoy this show for the visuals alone - it will be difficult to find better looking characters. For those who enjoy deep characters and story, this will surely disappoint.
