On a critical level this show would be put at a 7 or 8 out of ten, but there are some series where you just don’t care or overlook that flaws. I see the flaws and I get them but YOI has such a charm to it that makes up for those flaws and allows me to have a great time.

A beautifully animated sports anime that treats the same-sex relationship of its main characters with respect and dignity. Both hilarious and heartbreaking and with colorful, believable characters, this show has everything it needs and deserves all the praise it gets.

This Anime is great. The character development is nicely done and the relationships that we get to see flourish between the characters is great. It gives a nice look into Ice Skating and to my knowledge a pretty accurate one too. I can't wait to see where the rest of this anime goes because I am currently on ep 7-13? and A LOT has happened thus far that makes me more intrigued with how the competitions will go and how the characters relationships will progress.

Words can not describe how I feel about this anime. The opening is just perfect and simple. It goes very well with the mood and sets you up for a beautiful animation and with a little humor along the way. Each episode will leave you off your feet and will make you want more. Keep in mind when I'm writing this when I've only watched the first 2 episodes. It only took 1 episode for me to fall in love with the animation style and the unforgettable opening. I literally can't get the song out of my head. It makes you wish you could figure skate.
