Let's talk about some chain of events here. (spoilers)
1.Gundam Wing ends
All 5 Gundam pilots are known throughout the world, and considering a year
has passed, people should pretty much be aware of all of their exploits
2.Trowa joins the bad guy alliance without anyone saying anything, despite the fact that he did the same exact thing a year before
this is the part that really gets me
3. Is publicly outed in front of a thousand soldiers
4. ???
5. Is trusted soldier again.
Then there was the greatest return of a great character, Milliardo, where he comes back, get's a cool new code-name and then is immediately made the bitch of the bad guy. Like, the chain of events makes sense, but holy shit is it a dumb moment.
Also throwing the Gundams into the sun once is forgivable, but twice is a bit ridiculous. Especially considering that Relena changes her stance from "total peace" to "total peace except when we need to fight aka right now go get em."
Wu Fei is still dumb.
Also the ending was a total cop-out.
The one good thing to say is that Heavyarms now no longer looks like a chinese-rip-off Gundam.

The first time I saw this it aired on Toonami when I was like...9? I think? And it has, unlike Mortal Kombat, stood the test of time. Every once in awhile, I go back and rewatch it, and I still love it. It still has this same urgency, this same scale, that I felt when I was a little kid.
