Slice-of-life anime doesn't really need to do much to win me over. All I need are quirky characters that do hilarious hijinks together and I'm sold. This special certainly does that for me, but as a prequel episode, I wish I knew more about who these characters are.

I haven't watched Ichigo Marshmallow at the time of this review, but I certainly intend to, judging from this episode alone. It's standard for a 'cute girls doing cute things' show, but unless you know about the show's characters, it lacks a bit of substance in that department. The animation is standard for a show like this, and the music seems nonexistent save for using Blue Danube for comedic effect.

When I do see this show, I hope it ends up just as enjoyable to watch as this short. :)
