The anime is as the title suggests; peeping into the life of Japanese peoples. It's basically a commentary about Japanese society.

It uses extremely basic 3D, Maya-like models to act out various scenarios. Although not all of the shorts are common occurrences within Japanese life (what are the odds that you'll actually attend a party with the exact same outfit as your friend), the way the characters interact and resolve their issues are very similar to real life.

As someone who grew up familiar with Japanese attitudes and characteristics, I found this anime to be quite enjoyable and amusing. Whether or not the intention of this anime was to mock Japanese society or simply bring to light what Japanese society is really like, they approach it in a rather simple yet comedic manner.

If you liked the blander skits from Daily Life of Highschool Boys, you might enjoy the ones in this. This show is basically about life in Japan. That's it. Nothing special is going to happen. Just normal people talking about normal stuff that happens in their normal lives.

That being said, the real charm of the show is how relatable the characters in each skit (as relatable as an average Japanese person can get you anyway). Hearing them talk might remind you of your boss, or your spouse or even yourself.

But don't expect too much from Peeping Life. With around 5 minutes of screen time, the characters don't grow that endearing (although there are recurring characters).

Unless you consider everything that happens in your life as a plot point, there nothing in this really.

Animation 6

A bit different from the current crop of shows out there and that's about it.

Sound 7

That is just for the ED. It's a very catchy number. Apart from that, there is no BGM or OST

Characters 6

Pretty realistic and relatable characters. Too mundane though.

Enjoyment 6

Watch this if you have nothing else to do. Otherwise it's just a surefire way to get you bored
