Eureka Seven AO
エウレカセブンAOThe story is set on Okinawa's isolated island of Iwado, which has seen a growing movement advocating a return to an autonomous government. Ao Fukai, a 12-year-old boy with a missing father, lives on the island with an old doctor named Toshio and is about to enter middle school. Ao's mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals. Naru Arata, Ao's 12-year-old childhood friend and the story's heroine, lives with her father, older sister, and grandmother. She has a "Yuta" power awakened within her due to an incident when she was young. A mysterious entity called "Secret" suddenly appears and launches an attack on the Scub Coral lifeform on the island. Ao launches a certain military FP called "Nirvash" aboard a Japanese military transport in his fervent desire to protect the island. (Source: FUNimation)

Wow what a way to take everything that makes Eureka Seven an awesome show, the amazing characters, the exciting action scenes, inspirational moments that make you feel that everything is possible, and throw it all away to make a poor sequel that doesn't make any sense and wasn't needed at all. First, the story is not right, it doesn't make sense, there is a lot of things like the time/space travel with the steins;gate altern dimensions thingy that is just confusing. Neither of the new characters make me care about them, Eureka seven had an amazing character development that makes you really care but this one don't, they're there because plot. The villain is boring as hell, by the half of the series i was already bored of him. Ao is... ok but i didn't feel it like with Renton. The accion scenes were decent but, again, the characters doesn't make me care if something happen to them. I don't know, maybe i come with high expectations because of seeing this like a week before I end up the original Eureka Seven and i was in that train of awesomeness that was that. I just get really dissapointed with this. If it weren't a sequel it could have got a better score but the first season is so much better that bring this down.
