This is a great Mushishi special. It is atmospheric, and deeply emotional. All Mushishi fans will approve of this, and anyone wanting to watch something peaceful, but deeply meaningful. As this special is a lot longer than a normal episode, the plot is more developed, and so are the characters. The plot is simple, but will leave a lasting impression on the viewer as the series is known for it's subtlety. The soundtrack is beautifully made which emphasises the mood and atmosphere. Overall, this is a fantastic special which brings us back into the world of Mushishi in a fine way.
