Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School - Future Arc
ダンガンロンパ3 -The End of 希望ヶ峰学園- 未来編The world was close to being destroyed by Ultimate Despair, who caused "The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History." In order to save this world from the event's chaos, the Future Foundation was formed. Although the organization continues its activities to restore the world, Makoto Naegi is under suspicion of treason due to him shielding the Remnants of Despair. The Future Foundation members had gathered together to decide on his punishment, but they all end up getting trapped inside the place they were meeting by Monokuma, who demands that they begin the "Final Killing." They have strange bangles put on their wrists, and are given tranquilizers when a certain time arrives. To make things worse, there apparently is a real traitor amongst their ranks who is coming to kill the members of the Future Foundation. In this game where class trials don't exist, the only way to get rid of the traitor is to find him and kill him off. Naegi is forced to face the ultimate death game, where it's kill or be killed. The tale of despair in which hope kills hope begins. (Source: ANN)

In this point of time, humanity state is in critical point. The world is in danger by the doer who destroys the humanity. The doer / destoryers are “Super High School-Level Despairs” (in which the explanation of them is in the DANGANRONPA 3: Zetsubou-Hen series). The chaos is undeniable. The world is suffering from the doing of ‘em. The commotion starts to freak out the normal human without gift like Super High School-Level blahblah….
Future Foundation is built with the purpose to fight those High-Schoolers / destroyers. The Future Foundation members are recruited from the Hope’s Peak graduates. The gifted people should fight the gifted too.
Then, that’s how the story starts… another killing game begins, this time, will be the last. The Remnants of Despair (Super High School-Level Despairs) and Monokuma infiltrates Future Foundation’s base and oblige them to kill each other in order to survive. They are forced to play the killing game, the same with the first season. They must kill others and flee from the judgment to be alive. Once again, the Monokuma makes an appearance again in front of Naegi’s and comrades very face.
No difference can be found from my point of view—this series and the previous Danganronpa series. Even if the context is more critical such as the last war between hope and despair in which their survival (Future Foundation’s members) is a gambling for the continuation of the whole world, the feel is just not there. Can’t find deeper characterization of them. The story seems like it’s been refined in a rush.
It’s said in the beginning about how vital the hope is in the time being, but in the middle there are so many unnecessary events there, like we need to waste time for forming the same perspective about hope itself to fight in the name of it.
The visualization saved me enough. Altho’ not superb that I thought it could be better if the darker theme of the story isn’t affected its graphic, but I enjoyed it. The scenes always be so damn dark, troubling my sight and made it looked like less interesting sometimes. All of the colours and facial expresion becomes more dull than it should be.
Opening Theme for DANGANRONPA 3: Mirai-Hen is “DEAD OR LIE” by Maon Kurosaki feat. TRUSTRICK (LINK) and the ending theme “Recall THE END” by TRUSTRICK (LINK).
Both of theme Mirai-Hen theme songs are good, but not impressive. I like other TRUSTRICK works than the OP.
I like Zetsubou-Hen way much better than Mirai-Hen, based on the way I enjoyed the anime. Well, around 6. How about you?
Pro & Cons:
I should respect the logic put in the meaning of hope eventho’ it’s not fascinating enough. Nice logic, hope vs despair. But, wasting time, irrelevant with the first commotion brought to the scene.
Nice theme songs
(Cons) Random story such as got helped from out of nowhere (You will know after you watch it by yourself)
